- IN A NUTSHELL: a great adventure in the world of Star Wars - run on walls, shoot with a blaster, and fight with a lightsaber
Survivor doesn't directly continue the story of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The action of the sequel takes place several years after the events known from the original. Once again, we embody the character of Cala Kestis, one of the few surviving Jedi knights, who is constantly hunted by the forces of the Empire. This time the plot revolves around a planet that is a potential oasis of peace for people on the light side of the Force. Check for yourself whether you will ultimately be able to reach it.
What makes it worth playing?
During the entire adventure, we set foot on several diverse planets. The area to explore is often vast, and densely packed with secrets to discover and collectibles to collect. You can see the inspiration from the metroidvania genre here. Because we can't get everywhere immediately. Sometimes this is only possible with a skill unlocked at a later stage of the game, and other times with the right equipment. The pleasure of exploring locations and exploring hidden corners is one of the biggest advantages of Survivor. The next ones are an engaging story and a combat system. Of course, there had to be some lightsaber fighting. The new feature is shooting from a blaster. The opponents we will encounter in dynamic and impressive combat are varied and demand a unique approach. Cal also uses the Force, which comes in handy during both clashes and running on walls.
