Diablo 4

  1. Year of release: 2023
  2. Developer: Blizzard Entertainment
  3. Genre: hack'n'slash
  4. Platforms: PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S
  5. In a nutshell: a fast and intense hack and slash with accessible RPG elements

Diablo 4 continues the story of the eternal struggle between good and evil. This time, the main antagonist is not the titular Diablo, but Lilith, the daughter of hatred. The Mother of the Sanctuary returned to the human world thanks to a mysterious, pale man and three naive wretches. The storyline acts as a pretext for wiping out hordes of demons, spirits, and goatmen, yet it's still worth getting to know, particularly if you're aware of the earlier phases of the war between angels and demons.

What makes it worth playing?

With each next part, Diablo becomes increasingly simplified. The changes are designed to enhance convenience in gameplay, allowing for a greater focus on the swift and efficient elimination of opponents and collecting increasingly better equipment. The fourth "Diablo" is spectacular and intense, which only increases the fun of clearing the location. Fans also welcomed the return to the very heavy, dark atmosphere known from Diablo 1 and 2.
