- In a nutshell: kinda like Forza Horizon 5 focused more on simulation and taking place on race tracks
Probably the vast majority of those interested have already played Forza Horizon 5. For this reason, we decided to replace it with a newer production, namely Forza Motorsport. This is the eighth installment of this series -- however, this isn't indicated in the title. The producer decided that it was high time to reset the cycle.
The easiest way to describe the presented title is to compare it to Forza Horizon 5. Motorsport has a more simulation-like driving model, although not too hardcore -- there are many assistances available at any time to make gameplay easier. So, everyone can tailor the experience to their expectations. Apart from a different driving model, the most important difference is what we drive. There's no open world here, either. We compete on race tracks modeled after the most iconic real ones.
Despite placing a greater emphasis on simulation, the game doesn't scare with an excessively high level of difficulty -- at least at the beginning. At the start, we sit behind the wheel of cars with relatively low power. They allow you to enter the world of Forza Motorsport quite smoothly. Controlling the fastest cars with several hundred horsepower engines is, however, a much bigger challenge. In this case, basic skills acquired while driving common models may prove helpful. Nevertheless, mistakes are punished more often than not. For this reason, the satisfaction from a clean and fast run can be enormous. Just like the adrenaline rush during races.
All tracks and car models were created from scratch specifically for the eighth installment of the series. The game also has dynamic weather and day-night cycle. The realistic elements worth mentioning are also the physics -- many factors influence the grip, including the temperature of the asphalt, the need to control the fuel level, and the damage model.
