Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. A list of most-wanted upcoming MMORPGs

Table of Contents

  1. How long we've been waiting: 5 years
  2. To be released: beginning of 2021
  3. Distinguishing features: weather conditions that affect the power of spells, the emphasis on cooperation, high level of complexity

In an era of rampaging casualization, it's no surprise that veterans of the genre are eagerly waiting for a game that offers a bit more hardcore take on the subject. Such people should be happy with Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, which definitely goes back to the roots. This basically means that, when playing on your own, you will have to face many difficulties – the gameplay is designed mainly for close teamplay.

Each encountered opponent will be a challenge. An ordinary trip to the woods quickly becomes an adventure that can end tragically for us if we underestimate the threats. At the same time, you have to be constantly on guard, as the open PvP will make ambushing really easy.

Another noteworthy aspect is the approach to inventory. Players, from the very beginning, will have to carry equipment for different purposes and circumstances. Changing your weapons and armor before a fight to match the particular enemy, or selecting the right member of the team even, will be required in Rise of the Fallen. This solution will means that we will not find universal equipment suitable for any encounter. But time will tell whether it will be an advantage or not!
