Try to shoot off limbs of your enemies, mostly their legs, trying to exceptionally avoid the head; headless opponent is still alive and depriving him of his legs you can often slow him down (depending on the type of Necromorphs); Unitologists are exceptional - you can eliminate them with a headshot;
Use kinesis to grab crates or railings which can be used as a shield again attacks of Unitologists or Necromorphs using ranged attacks;
The game has quite closed structure so try to thoroughly search every corner of each room and collect all resources; in Pure Survival mode your opponents do not leave any resources at their bodies so you have to dispose them carefully;
When you get lost, use locator to show the path to your objective or the nearest workbench or suit kiosk;
Try to use kinesis during fights, especially if you deal with larger group of enemies; it allows you to save ammo, which is valuable especially on higher difficulty levels and harder gameplay modes;
Complete side missions - besides obvious benefits in the form of resources, you'll come across secrets and places rich in resources where you can release your bot;
There are three bots searching for resources in game in total; try to let them out in places rich in resources - you can easily locates them with a bot itself as well as with characteristic sound which intensity increases when you get closer to the location of resources;
Often visit the workbench, especially when you try to collect all secrets (upgrades, weapon parts); thank to that you can make more space in your equipment; in addition you can leave there the excess of med kits, which are sometimes more useful than you think;
Always have a torque bar with you - in some chapters it can be used to collect resources and secrets;
Craft a new weapon only when you feel that the old one is not good enough to deal with larger group of enemies; it refers especially to crafting weapons of found blue prints, which require using resources that are key in challenging modes of gameplay;
The game has autosave option - pay attention to this, because it might happen that you leave the game just before the save and you'll have to complete quite large section again.
