General information about the Three Old Kegs The above map presents the Three Old Kegs inn, one of the additional areas available in the town. Your main purpose of visiting this place is the opportunity to recruit two party members - Minsc and Dynaheir . Those two can be found on the highest floor of the inn. But before you go there, you can explore the area and take on a number of additional tasks. Additionally, the team can purchase various beverages in the inn (from the bartender and one of the waitresses).
Most important places in the Three Old Kegs 1. Starting location
The exploration of this area starts just outside the inn. You can head inside (M3,3 ) or look around the building. By doing the latter you will be able to take out the bandits (M3,2 ), or speak with Aileen (M3,4 ). If you want to leave the place, head towards the northern or southern edge of the map.
5. The bar
Not long after reaching the bar, a brawl between two antagonistic captains will begin. A side quest - Bar Fight - is associated with this encounter. You can take part in it by breaking up the brawl, or by joining one of the sides of the conflict.
7. Refugees
You can speak with a group of refugees about the gold that was taken from Ophyllis - an incident you've learned about during your stay at the Ducal Palace. If you didn't speak with the man, Ophyllis can be found in the palace basement (M2,12 ) (My Missed Fortune side quest).
9. Minsc and Dynaheir's room
Minsc will be standing at the entrance to the room, whereas Dynaheir can be found inside of it. You can invite them to your party - you won't have to complete any additional quests for that to happen. The only limitation is the fact that you have to invite both Minsc and Dynaheir - they have to travel together and won't join your party separately. More on that topic can be found in the Companions chapter of this guide.
A list of quests unlocked in the Three Old Kegs The Dry Crier (side quest) - This quest can be unlocked by speaking with Robel . The man can be found at the entrance to the inn (M3,3 ). You can agree to bring him a beverage for his dry throat.
Corpse Disposal (side quest) - You must speak with Aileen , who can be found in the backyard of the inn (M3,4 ). You can pay for the corpse disposal, or ask her a number of questions to force her to reveal the truth.
Bar Fight (side quest) - The brawl takes place on the ground floor of the inn (M3,5 ). You can ignore it, try to convince them to stop the fight, or side with one of the captains and begin the encounter.
Meeting of the Minds (side quest) - You will meet a group of aristocrats on the highest floor of the inn (M3,10 ). They conspire against the council. You can either kill them, blackmail them and take their belongings, or lie that you share their opinion, causing them to get arrested.
What? Get Out! (side quest) - this quest doesn't appear in your journal. You can unlock it after reaching Delanda 's room (M3,11 ) - you have to be aggressive during the conversation and / or decline to leave the room. You can either force an encounter with her guard, or chase both her and her bodyguard from the room.
