Hints on how to progress | Masari UaW: EA Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
1) I've already reminded you that you've started the campaign in East Africa. That's where you'll also find your main headquarters. I would recommend buying both upgrades right away, because you won't have to worry about being attacked by your enemy. You should also remember about your main character. Buy new units in order to increase the strength of his strike force. Attack Congo or Sahara. You will be allowed to choose only between them.
2) Once you've taken control over the first hostile zone, you will have to make a very important decision. You will be allowed to proceed directly to North Africa, however if you plan on dominating all areas, attack the remaining sector. You won't receive any penalties for attacking North Africa right away, especially since this is a much easier version of the Global Mode, so you won't have to worry about the enemy attacking your positions. Before you decide to proceed with the assault, build a global structure in a recently rescued zone. I would recommend purchasing an Energy Magnet, so you'll receive more funds from now on. Also, don't forget to upgrade this building.
3) If you want to get to your main objective right away, capture only two sectors. Otherwise take control over the third one as well. Remember to place a global structure once you've taken control over a new area. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to control it. As for global buildings, I would recommend purchasing mostly Energy Magnets. A Key Inspiration structure shouldn't be built until you've reached South America. As for Will Processor building, buy it only if you want to use more technologies during the upcoming missions.
4) Make sure that you've built a proper strike force before proceeding to the next continent. You will have to move your main character to an unoccupied zone, called Brazilian Highlands (screen). You won't have to fight any enemies there. Take control over this sector by building a global structure.
5) Just as before, you will have to make an important decision. If you want to get to Anahuac as soon as possible, start conquering zones which are located in the northern section of South America. Amazon Basin is the closest sector. Otherwise you should consider attacking Altiplano, before proceeding to the north.
6) Taking control over one of the available sectors of South America not only will allow you to increase your overall power but you'll also be rewarded with a new hero. It's going to prince Zessus. I'm sure that you still remember him from the previous missions of the game. You'll find out that before attacking Anahuac you will have to destroy enemy defences which can be found in Central America. You won't be allowed to proceed there right away. First of all, you will have to attack the northern sector. It's going to be Guiana. I would recommend sending lord Charos to deal with this problem. Don't forget to place new global buildings. You can also grant prince Zessus with a strike force, however his population limit is much smaller - 25 points.
7) Once you've taken control over Guiana, you will have to purchase a global building in order to assure your full control over this sector. I would recommend buying the Key Inspiration building. Doing this will allow you to purchase more advanced units and you'll need some of them to prepare for the upcoming battle.
8) Now you'll have to make a final choice on how to proceed. Obviously you will have to attack Central America in order to be able to get closer to the location of the Purifier. By choosing prince Zessus you wouldn't be allowed to construct a base. As a result, you would have to rely only on his abilities in order to destroy enemy structures. This can be very difficult, so I would recommend choosing lord Charos instead. Make sure that his strike force is up to the challenge. You must have a lot of ground units, as well several Inquisitor troops. It's very important that your strike force will be capable of attacking air targets and that it's strong enough, because you're going to be attacked on your way to the target area (screen). As a result, you'll lose about 50% of your troops and many of them will start the new mission with a shorter energy bar. Don't worry, because you'll still be able to succeed. Check the next section of my game guide for more clues on how to win the mission in Central America.
