Uncharted 1: Plane-wrecked part 1 - Chapter 4 walkthrough Uncharted Drakes Fortune guide, walkthrough
Last update: 15 April 2020
This page of our guide to Uncharted: Drake's Fortune contains a detailed walkthrough of the first part of Chapter 4 - Plane-wrecked. This stage begins with a scene in which the heroes' plane is shot down. After a safe landing, you should move through new parts of the jungle and continue your journey through the ruins. Nate will encounter enemies along the way, and the game allows you to get rid of some of your opponents by performing stealth attacks.
A while later, we took a plane to an island, where we were hoping to find more clues. Unfortunately, we were shot down right above it and we had to evacuate.
After an almost safe landing, Nate went straight to action. He turned towards the tree on which his parachute was hanging and moved ahead, passing the tree on his right. Between the roots he found a treasure - a Silver Inca Figurine.[1] Now he had to confront the vast jungle. The hero passed the statue and moved towards the gate on his way, jumping through the stone block. The gate was locked with a padlock - to get rid of it Nathan simply accurately shot at it with his weapon.[2]
Nate ran further through the open passage and came across a waterfall in the distance.[1] He jumped down and immediately went to the left, along the rocks. There was a Silver Fish Charm near the little tree, another treasure for our collection.[2]
Nathan ran to the other side of the water and climbed on a few rocks. Then, he moved through the bushes to reach the top of waterfall. After crossing the river (only this way was available) he climbed onto the ledge on the right and jumped to the opposite side (with a fallen trunk).[1] He didn't climb the trunk, but he looked down - there was a Gold Frog lying there.[2]
Then the hero walked over a fallen trunk - he had to maintain balance in order not to fall down (move and rotate your controller). As soon as he safely got to the other side, we heard some shots - enemies came running up from above, so Nate quickly hid behind the stone and killed them.[1] He walked over the other trunk and climbed the green vine. At the top he met another, slightly surprised thug and he finished him off with three blows. He collected the grenades lying on the chest and ran away, hiding immediately behind one of the two columns. From there, he killed his enemies, watching out for the grenades they threw at him.[2]
By following the trail (by following enemy corpses) Nate reached the top - he could see the ruins and several enemies below. He didn't open fire at his enemies from above because he would become an easy target. Instead, he went downstairs and took cover behind one of the walls.[1] There were several explosive barrels in the area, which proved to be helpful. Nate also had to remove the bandits lurking in the bushes on the left (a little higher).[2] The gunfight was long, because enemy reinforcements have arrived. When Nate ran out of bullets, he ran towards dead enemy corpses and picked up their guns.
After clearing the area of enemies and collecting weapon magazines, Nate climbed the system of pillars in the further part of this location.[1] He rushed through the upper part and jumped to the elevation where opponents were lurking in the bushes earlier. He turned left - in the corner of the floor, just near the edge by the stone he found the Intricate Gold Ring.[2] Then, he returned to the pillars and jumped over them to get to the second platform - in the distance there was a wall and another gate.
As soon as Nate smashed through the gate blocking the passage, it turned out that the next alley was full of enemies. After killing first opponents, Nathan ran inside - the next enemies have appeared (on the right and left), so the hero retreated behind the gate and eliminated them from there.[1] He ran to the right and at the next gate he had to confront another group of armed bandits. After Nate has defeated the first wave of enemies from behind the gate, he hid behind the adjacent low wall and turned left. Enemy reinforcements have arrived from the front and right side.[2]
After clearing the location, Nate climbed on the floor in front of him which was located at the end of this area (behind sandbags, smaller stones and walls). In the left corner at the top he found the Patterned Silver Ring.[1] From this rocky ledge he had to make a series of jumps on other collapsed sections of the wall and columns - in the opposite direction. From the last column, Nathan reached the balcony and thus passed a large gate.[2]
By running further down the overgrown ravine, the hero bumped into other enemies lurking in the next section of ruins. He found cover behind the green rocks and killed all his opponents while hiding there. Once it was safe, he ran left to a large white tree and a few smaller ones - between them he found a Golden Jaguar.[1] Nate traveled along the only path available until he saw a huge waterfall before him. There, he turned right and jumped onto the stones, and then onto the rocky edge - he went left by grabbing other rocky ledges.[2]
