Uncharted 1: How long does it take to complete Drake's Fortune? Uncharted Drakes Fortune guide, walkthrough

Last update: 16 April 2020

On this page you will find out how long it should take you to complete the whole story of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Our guide provides you with several different values - you can only focus on the main story, additionally concentrate on finding all collectibles, and you can try to obtain the platinum trophy.

1 - Uncharted 1: How long does it take to complete Drakes Fortune? - Appendix - Uncharted Drakes Fortune Guide
  1. It takes around 8-9 hours to complete the main plot. The above duration can be assumed if you have chosen the default normal difficulty level. Gameplay time may be extended if you have started the game on hard or crushing difficulty level - then you may have to repeat many challenging fights. Some puzzles can also hold you back. Finding a solution to a puzzle is not always an obvious matter.
  2. It can take you from a few dozen minutes up to a few hours to collect all treasures which you have omitted. It all depends on how many of the 61 treasures you have already found while completing the game for the first time. Fortunately, it is very easy to return to the omitted collectibles. The game has an option to select a specific chapter of the story, so you can complete those stages on low difficulty level in order to quickly defeat all enemies and collect every hidden treasure.
  3. You should be able to unlock the platinum trophy after 15-20 hours of gameplay. This value refers to the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered on PlayStation 4, which allows you to select the Crushing difficulty level right from the start. You'll probably spend a few extra hours on collecting all secrets and unlocking a variety of trophies associated with in-game combat. Unfortunately, Platinum trophy is more problematic on PS3, as the Crushing difficulty level can only be unlocked when you have completed the game on Hard difficulty level.
  4. Extended collection trophies (for PS4 only) can prolong game time by up to several hours. The most important information is that they are not required for a platinum trophy - treat them only as side activities and challenges. The most problematic trophies are - Need for Speed (Achieve a Complete Speed Run Time of Less than 2 Hours and 30 minutes) and Charted! - Brutal (Finish the Game on Brutal Without Changing the Difficulty).
