[46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict TW II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress Guide

Last update: 11 May 2016

Beginning: While doing the quest [44-M] Subconsciousness / Consciousness (1/2).

You start in [1] - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You start in [1]. Approach the opposite wall and ask the Weaver for the door (unless he's already created it himself). Go outside and run to the gate in [2] and then to the university entrance in [3]. Once inside, run around the hall to get to the stairs leading down. Further, you can go left or right. Choose the left path, and turn left at the next fork (the right path leads to a library but there's nothing interesting there). You'll find an easter egg in the room - New Ashos City Development Plan written by Rob the Builder.

Come back to the main hall and run into the right corridor - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Come back to the main hall and run into the right corridor. Turn right once more at the fork and you'll get to the lecture hall. Watch the cutscene and then approach Nanook talking to Rector Veneficus. Talk to the former and offer your help, You'll receive a new task objective.

At this point it's good to search the lecture hall and a room at the end of the corridor leading to it in order to find two paintings connected with the quest [47-S] Pieces of Art - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

At this point it's good to search the lecture hall and a room at the end of the corridor leading to it in order to find two paintings connected with the quest [47-S] Pieces of Art.

Go out of the university and run to the gate in [4], and then head to [6].

On the way you can visit the gallery in [5], connected with the task [47-S] Pieces of Art.

There are a lot of hostile animals in the area - Panthers, Werebeasts, Drakonais and Baboons (they attack from a distance and are very bothersome because they run away all the time). Admittedly, these opponents are neither tough nor strong, but you usually come across them in very large groups. Don't fight all at once, because you'll get killed for sure. You'll also encounter Zygophyllas and bigger Royal Zygophyllas by the roads and in the forests.

After getting to [6], Reality Weaver will appear. He'll warn you against the poison. To protect yourself from it, ask him for Water-of-Coal that you should drink immediately. If you go to the forest before drinking the water you'll die at once. You can also ask the Weaver for a weapon of some kind - choose the one that best suits your profession.

Your task is to reach [7] - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Your task is to reach [7]. The wasps' swarms have been marked on the map by large squares - Blighted Vespines, Vespine Queens and Vespine Guardians will attack you in these places from all directions. However, they're neither strong, nor tough, so you should not have any problems with getting rid of those enemies - use attacks with area effect above all. After forcing your way through to [7] take Belgurak Seeds out of a great mushroom and come back to Nanook.

Run through the gate in [8] and then go to [9] - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Run through the gate in [8] and then go to [9]. Talk to Nanook standing beside the square of soil. Put the Belgurak Seeds in it and you'll receive 10,000 XP. Talk to Nanook again and agree to follow another order - gather some manure for the mushroom. Now you have to get to [10]. There will be lots of different kinds of animals in your way, that's why don't venture too deep into the forest so that the enemies can't surround you.

When you've reached the vicinity of [10] you'll have to square up to a large opponent - a Droser - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

When you've reached the vicinity of [10] you'll have to square up to a large opponent - a Droser. Obviously, there will be a lot of animals around, and a little further, around [11] - a big number of Baboons. Moreover, there are also Zygophyllas and Werebeasts. Again - keep running and clearing the area systematically, and once there's no Baboon left on the map begin to pick up their excrements. You need to collect twelve portions of Baboon dung.

Having gathered all that's needed, go back to Nanook, who is still in [9] - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Having gathered all that's needed, go back to Nanook, who is still in [9]. Talk to him, look into the mushroom and put all excrements you found inside. You'll receive 10,000 XP, and Nanook will ask you to assist him in watering the mushroom. To do so, head to the well in [12].

Reality Weaver will appear next to the well. Ask him for two Rags soaked in oil. Put the first in the well in [12] and the second in the well in front of the university in [13]. You only need to run up to the lever in [14] and shift it (it's in the back, on a column). You'll get 10,000 XP. Talk to Nanook about the last stage of the mushroom cultivation.

At this point it's good to do a side quest [48-S] An Eye For An Eye.

Run to [15] - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Run to [15]. You need to force your way through the enemy animal host (apart from ordinary animals you'll also meet Cyclopes a bit further) to the gate in [16]. During the fight you can use the altar of strength near [15]. Watch out for the groups of Fire Elementals in the vicinity of the estate in [17]. Before coming inside you'll meet Reality Weaver. Ask him for two Fireproof Cloches. Defeat three Fire Elementals, which will appear in front of the main door, and then enter inside.

When you're inside run into the short corridor on the right, and then turn right straight away and run up the stairs - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

When you're inside run into the short corridor on the right, and then turn right straight away and run up the stairs. Kill the Fire Elemental upstairs, go left and then right. Catch the first Fire Elemental and go left and then left again. Go down the stairs to the ground floor and head left. Defeat two Fire Elementals and take the second (Violet) Fire Elemental.

The cutscene will show you a double door that will open - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The cutscene will show you a double door that will open.

To the right of the door there's a chest of drawers that should be searched. You'll find the third painting (Bleak Moonshield). Take it as it's connected with the quest [47-S] Pieces of Art.

Run through the door to the hall and head to the main door. Leave the estate and run to Nanook in [9]. Talk to him, and then put Captured Wisps to two braziers by the mushroom. You'll receive 10,000 XP and after the conversation with Nanook you'll have to have a chat with ... the Mushroom. It doesn't matter what you say in the beginning, but later don't say that the Mushroom's smell is irritating, because you'll have to apologize! Instead, choose the following option: "Spending time together is what makes this friendship great".

If you've collected all three paintings the time is right to complete the task [47-S] Pieces of Art - [46-M] Subconsciousness: Worldviews in Conflict - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

If you've collected all three paintings the time is right to complete the task [47-S] Pieces of Art. To do so, go to the gallery in [5].

Finally, you'll be successful in cultivating a mature form of the mushroom. All that remains is to go to the university in [3] and to find Rector Veneficus. Once you're in the building go down the stairs, and then run into the left corridor and turn right at the fork. Talk to Rector Veneficus, who's sitting behind the desk, and you and Nanook will both move near Nanook's mushroom. Listen to the entire conversation and talk to Nanook. Read Map of Nanook's Consciousness. Enter the hall with three doors and you'll complete this quest and be rewarded with 30,000 XP.
