[12-M] Teal's Ikayorte TW II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Beginning: You'll get it during the [06-M] Lovers' Conspiracy (1/2).
Teleport to [3], go on board the ship in [4] and go down to the cargo hold. Break into the captain cabin by picking a lock or simply destroying it. Inside, a surprise awaits you, that is, Nicky Nails. Chat with him and you'll get two quests - [13-M] Glass Jar and [14-G] Spirits of Nature - which have to be completed before you go back to the present task.
Do the quest [13-M] Glass Jar.
Do the quest [14-M] Spirits of Nature.
Having carried out the abovementioned tasks, you'll receive Fake Ikayorte and additionally 20,000 XP. Teleport to [3], get on board the ship and find Nicky Nails in [5]. Talk to him, and then go down to the cargo hold and find Billy Bugeyes who's lying to the right, next to a cage. Invite Billy to the roister and after that come back on board (you must wait until Billy Bugeyes gets there, you can't go out earlier than that).
Once you're on the deck talk to Cutter and Billy Bugeyes, meanwhile Nicky Nails will go get Captain Teal. In a moment everybody will drink a toast to the captain, and your reputation among the pirates will increase +10. Talk a little more with Cutter and Billy Bugeyes (ask questions about everything, even the parrot), to boost the reputation +7.
Now is the right time to swap the jars. Go under the deck and break into the captain cabin again. Swap the jar on table on the left with the false one, and you'll receive 30,000 XP. Go back on board. Captain Teal will accost you but it doesn't matter what you'll answer.
Only now can you carry out the task [16-S] Deck-journals - Volume II, talk to Cutter (who's washing the deck) about the quest [22-S] Scientific Revolution and to Billy Bugeyes (who went under the deck) about the quest [17-S] Pirates Don't Cry.
Teleport to [2] and enter Maren's house in [1]. Talk to Captain Teal's soul and Maren, and you'll receive 55,000 XP and new tasks: [18-S] Casqet of Embers and [20-G] Needle in a haystack. Together with this last task you will get a Sight Stealer - an extremely useful magic item in the form of a remote-controlled eye that allows you to view the area. It can be used for as many times and as long as you wish. The only limitation is the distance from your character.
Do the quest [17-S] Pirates Don't Cry.
