You'll fight only with Olorums in this place - [32-M] The Archives - Walkthrough - Two Worlds II: Pirates of The Flying Fortress - Game Guide and Walkthrough

You'll fight only with Olorums in this place. As usual, divide your enemies into smaller groups and eliminate them by fighting three at the most. Watch out especially for the wizards, as almost all of them summon the undead. You'll defeat three warriors and two wizards in the small hall, and in the next, three warriors, two archers and two wizards.

You'll reach the fork. There are three chests in a round hall on the right, but in order to get to them you first need to defeat four warriors, three archers and two wizards. The opposite hall leads to the next part of the quest. You'll face four warriors, two sorcerers and an archer there (these are the last enemies in the archives). You can also search the sarcophagus in the middle of the hall.

It doesn't matter if you choose the stairs on the left or right, both ways will lead you to a great gate in [4], which you should unlock. You'll receive 15,000 XP and a new mission objective - searching Nanook's archives.

Moreover, in a few places in the hall you'll find some single items you're free to take as well.

Save the game after reading the journal and use an Oculus. Fly up and find a glowing red square on the left in [6]. Approach it and shoot. You might have a problem with pointing - Oculus Draconis is the most suitable to use in this task. You'll get 20,000 XP and the door in [7] will stand open before you. Go there now.
