On this page of the Tunic guide, we will focus on The Swamp Old Burying Ground. You will learn its key features, the most important places, connections with other locations and microlocations, enemies living there, as well as a map of the entire area.
Key Features
The Swamp Old Burying Ground (map above) is the last main location in the game. It is located south of the Overworld, but it gets unlocked only after the first, seemingly unsuccessful, encounter with The Heir boss. There you will find treasure chests and a shrine (checkpoint). Besides, there is a small crypt - enter it and you will notice that it is another store besides the Overworld mill.
When it comes to exploration, it is not particularly complex. In addition to discovering secrets and searching for treasures, you can only go to one smaller location - The Cathedral (its map is shown above). This is where the dash is located, a very important skill needed to complete the game in 100%. If you want to know how to find it, check out the page: Dash - how to get?.
Enemies
In The Swamp Old Burying Ground, you will have to face groups of quite annoying, high-level monsters (not counting Phrend). A group of gigantic Fleemers, an invisible Lost Echo, and the infamous Hushers are waiting for you. In addition, in the middle of the Cathedral, you will find your "mirror images", that is, other armed foxes. You won't face any new bosses in this location, but you will reach an arena, where, in addition to the waves of basic opponents, you will have to face the Garden Knights duo, a type of boss known from the West Garden. The fight takes place in the Cathedral, which is a micro-location belonging to The Swamp Old Burying Ground.
