Tunic is an isometric action-adventure game. We play as a anthropoid fox who explores a fantasy land full of treasures and monsters. The game's plot is told mostly through pictures and events as most of the lines are written in unintelligible, fictional language. In Tunic, we explore big, partially open maps, gather items, and fight many various enemies, including powerful bosses.

Tunic Description
Tunic for PC is a fantasy action-adventure game developed by Andrew Shouldice.
Plot
In Tunic, we play as an anthropomorphic fox who explores a fantasy land full of monsters and treasures. The plot is told mostly through pictures and events because most texts are written in a difficult-to-read phonemic code. Once in a while though, we will find some English words that work as clues.
Game mechanics
Tunic is an action adventure game inspired by 8- and 16- bit The Legend of Zelda games. We explore partially open, big maps, gather items, and fight with the encountered enemies, among which we will find powerful bosses.
Gameplay focuses mostly on combat and we will encounter puzzles and riddles only every once in a while. To make combat more exciting, an elaborate arcade combat system was implemented in the game that allows us to do various attacks and evades. A stamina bar gives the game a tactical element (we use stamina for attacks and player-activated techniques).
Gathering items plays an important role in the game. In Tunic we not only get better weapons and equipment, but we also develop our character's stats using gathered money and items.
Technical aspects
Tunic for PC uses Unity engine and has eye-pleasing, 3D graphics. We observe the action form an isometric perspective.
