Baldo

Baldo is an action RPG that draws inspiration from The Legend of Zelda series. The game focuses on saving the fantasy land from a mysterious creature trapped in the underworld. The Italian studio Naps Team is responsible for the production and release of the game.

Plot

The action of Baldo takes place in the fictional land of Rodia. In undergrounds of this world owls sealed a powerful creature without a heart. According to the prophecy, this creature will free itself when a "pure child" is born. This prophecy has begun to come true and the player's task is to overcome its consequences.

Mechanics

Baldo is a classic representative of the action RPG genre. The player moves around the game world, performing various tasks, interacting with NPCs along the way, and fighting in real time. An important element of the game are also puzzles of various kinds - their solution is required to unlock the next levels.

Technical aspects

Baldo offers very colorful, manga-like visuals made in the technique of cel-shading. The whole game resembles animated films by Ghibli's studio - just like the Ni no Kuni series.
