The Lands of the Giant is another mission of the campaign in They Are Billions. This is quite a peculiar mission, during which you will fight with regular infected and a single giant. In this chapter, you will find a walkthrough and tips related to The Lands of the Giant mission.

How to start: unlocked after completing The Mines of the Raven mission.

Mission objective:

1. Destroy all infected.
2. Colony population: 1,000.
3. Special properties of the map: Very cold weather (energy demand of buildings increases by 30%).

The mission

The initial expansion of the colony.

1. Pay attention to the special property of the map - each house needs 30% more energy. This means that you will need to build more buildings that generate this resource.
2. Take a look at the mini-map - a unique enemy, Infected Giant, is in the upper right corner of the screen. This enemy must be defeated - however, don't provoke it now. You won't be able to eliminate this enemy.
3. Start as always - place 3 Tents, then 2 Hunter Cottages, an additional 5 Tents. After receiving the gold, place 2 Sawmills.

The stone deposit is to the north-east of the starting location.

1. Begin expansion to the north-east - there, you will find a stone deposit. Place a Quarry on it.
2. Build Tesla Towers around the territories, and then set the first line of defense with the walls to surround the entire base.
3. No need to be afraid of the horde attack here - they do not appear here.
4. Continue expansion to get 1,000 population and keep recruiting new units - the more, the better.
5. Set the defense line in the northern part of the map - build two walls and 2 lines towers behind them. Place units on the walls.
6. As soon as the defense line is ready, go to the Infected Giant and lure it towards the walls - your army will quickly deal with it.
7. The last thing you have to do is to eliminate the remaining infected.

Note - this mission unlocks The Frozen Lake mission.

Tips

A demonstrative fortification. Snipers are great for this mission.

Below you can find a few tips for The Lands of the Giant mission:

1. Don't even think about attacking the Infected Giant - it deals so much damage that it will kill any of your current units with one hit. Moreover, his attacks inflict damage on a small area - a single attack can kill even 10 units.
2. You won't get attacked by hordes. However, your base will be attacked by small groups of infected - surround your colony with walls.
3. Snipers are very useful in this mission - they will deal huge damage to the Infected Giant. To unlock Snipers, you need Telescope technology.
