This is the tenth in the order Infected Swarm mission in They Are Billions. It appears after you complete The Noxious Swamp, blocking access to the Omicron Laboratory. How to unlock and goals
How to start: unlocked after completing The Noxious Swamp mission
Mission objective:
- Destroy all infected.
- Survive all the hordes.
The mission
- Start by placing the Wasps around the main building. It is necessary to place them in the passages between the trees - this will reduce the consumption Empire Points by a little bit. Make a row of Wasps around the main building.
- Place 2-3 rows of Soldiers behind the Wasp turrets, or you can replace some of the Soldiers with Snipers. Both configurations will work.
- Spend around 1,000 Empire Points on Stakes Traps or Wire Fence Traps - this depends on what you have access to. You can even have 6-7 rows of these fortifications - they significantly slow down enemies which is helpful in eliminating them.
- Once the mission starts, place the Soldiers as close to the Wasp turrets as possible, so they can quickly start firing at enemies.
- Keep track of what is happening on the battlefield - if one of the sides can't deal with the enemies (they can attack the fortifications), send Soldiers there from the side that is in a better situation.
Tips
Below you can find a few tips for this mission:
- During this mission, you will only face Venoms - due to their offensive capabilities and high venom resistance, Soldiers are great against Venoms.
- Placing a row of Wasp turrets will make this mission much easier - even if the enemies reach the fortifications, they will attack one turret instead of injuring the entire group of Soldiers.
- Don't skimp on Stakes Traps or Wire Fence Traps - these fortifications will slow down enemies, dealing them a decent amount of damage making their elimination will be much easier.
