Last update: 05 August 2019
Hydra Power Plant - is one of the easiest tactical missions in They Are Billions. You won't encounter particularly difficult enemies here, and during the mission, you'll be able to use numerous electric traps that will make it easier to eliminate enemies. In this chapter you will find the walkthrough guide and tips related to the Hydra Power Plant mission in the story mode.
How to unlock and goals
How to unlock: after completing the Frozen Lake mission
Mission objective:
- Get the object of the mission: Mission artifact.
- The hero must get out of the fortress alive.
- (optional) Get valuable items for the Empire (points: 260).
- (optional) Get ancient technology (scores: 460).
Note - as part of tactical missions, additional items to collect are scattered randomly at the start of the mission. For this reason, this section does not contain information about their location - because it is just random.
The mission
- As usual, ignore the main entrance for the moment and go along the left edge of the map. On your way, there will be many items, including Grenades and medical kits, and at the end, you will reach the alternative entrance to the building. It's worth using it.
- Once inside, pay attention to the device glowing red. You can interact with it to activate electric traps. Every ten seconds enemies will be hit with current, eliminating even a few infected at the same time. It is important that the traps are not dangerous for the hero.
- The artifact of the mission is located in the South-Eastern part of the building. Inside you will find a large group of strong enemies, so before entering there activate the traps in the previous room, and then lure the enemies to be struck by current. Alternatively, you can use a Grenade - if you throw it right after opening the door, most enemies will be killed before they have time to move.
- Collect the artifact of the mission and go back. It is recommended here to spend 10-15 minutes collecting extra Empire and Science Points. Fighting with enemies, thanks to electric traps, are simple, so you should use it to your advantage.
Tips
Finally, a few tips related to the Hydra Power Plant mission, namely:
- Use electric traps. Activate them, and then lure the enemies next to them - so they will be electrocuted that each time can eliminate even a few enemies. If a group of infected people survived, run around the trap before it is charged and burns again.
- Electric traps are completely harmless to the hero - they will not activate when you come to them, and will not only affect the infected.
- Eliminating enemies within this mission is simple, so it's worth spending a little extra time collecting all the Empire and Science points on the map - making it easier for you to play in regular missions.
