Light the stained glass to destroy it

Get on the balcony that neighbors the room with the cage, call Trico, climb on his back and order him to continue the climb (he'll begin with reaching a ledge located above the exit). The climb itself is linear, and leads the heroes to the destroyed roof of one of the ruins.

Show Trico the neighboring destroyed pillars to continue the journey. Our companion will stop before he reaches the neighborhood of two hanging stained glass windows. Fortunately, you don't have to complete another climb to reach them. Instead, equip the mirror, aim at every glass piece, and wait until they're destroyed by the lightning shot from Trico's tail.

Once Trico reaches the interior of the tower, point him to nearby bridge - Reach the highest tower | Walkthrough - Walkthrough - The Last Guardian Game Guide

Once Trico reaches the interior of the tower, point him to nearby bridge. Soon you should start approaching a new tower. Show Trico the upper left derrick, and once you land on it, use the mirror again to destroy the hanging glass.

Continue climbing with Trico until you reach a small ledge, on which the beast will have to stop. Get off Trico and investigate small protruding elements from the above screenshot. You can start using them to climb to upper levels. Make sure that your jumps are calculated, as it is easy to miss the ledge and fall into the chasm.

Run across the wooden balcony, and make a few additional jumps until you reach the other side of the tower. Investigate its interior, and pull the lever to raise the portcullis and unlock access for Trico.

Before you climb onto Trico's back, use the mirror to destroy the remote glass, shown on the screenshot above. When the glass is gone, order your companion to make a far jump in the direction of the neighboring tower.

The tower contains another lever - pull it - Reach the highest tower | Walkthrough - Walkthrough - The Last Guardian Game Guide

The tower contains another lever - pull it. Once you leave the tower, point Trico to protruding elements above, which he can use to continue the climb. You should reach an upper balcony. Use the mirror to "fire" at two balconies marked on the screenshot above to eliminate the enemies standing on them. Completing this action will allow Trico to make a long jump in the direction of the new tower.

Same as before, begin with pulling the lever, and showing Trico where to continue the climb. You have to eliminate an animated armor from the closer balcony (use the mirror once again)

Use the stairs and ledges to reach the top of the tower

When Trico reaches the upper level of the tower, descend from the beast, and enter the tower. Go through one of the holes in a big gate, and start ascending using the partially damaged stairs.

You'll find a lever on top of the tower - pulling it will slide out the first half of the bridge. Return to Trico (you can just jump and land on his back) and order him to use the bridge to get to the next tower.

The ledges near Trico will lead you forward

You should be near a huge white tower that you have visited earlier (but stayed only for a while). Trico won't be willing to make a jump in that direction. Jump from his back to a small ledge, and once again use the spiral stairs.

The top of the current tower contains a lever - using it slides out the second part of the bridge. Return to Trico, and order him to travel to the white tower. Thanks to the created bridge, our companion will have enough momentum to complete the flight.
