Eliminate enemies with shields | Walkthrough
Don't jump - use Trico's tail to come down, as he is blocked in his location by enemies armed with shields. Once you descended enough, jump on the ledge nearby and begin exploring the area. Soon, you'll reach an area with narrow shelves. Use them to keep moving to the right.
There is a bigger shelf a bit farther ahead. Start making simple jumps to next ledges located in this area. Once you reach the last ledge, jump to the nearby shelf, and get a hold of the ledge located above. Climb onto a narrow, extended rock ledge. The wall on the left has a few large holes. Use any of them to enter the ruins.
You'll be targeted by two suits of armor once you enter the new hall. Let them approach the boy. When they've come closer, go around them, and proceed to the small stairs. Such approach is suitable, considering that you need to have as much time as possible to defeat the enemies with shields.
Note - Being caught is not the end - you can still free yourself by pressing the buttons shown on the screen. Remember that one of the armors can use magical attacks.
Here you need to chargé at your enemies. To perform this move, press Square when the boy is running. Approach one of the enemies from behind, and perform this action (it's more of a forward throw) to divest them of their shields (shown above)
However, the charged upon enemy won't fall into the abyss. Furthermore, his shield will also be whole. To proceed further, you need to repeat the action with the second enemy. This is why you had to outmaneuver the two previous suits of armor, to have enough time to remove two shields.
If you are successful, Trico will land in this location, and will eliminate all enemies without your input (meanwhile, you can climb onto Trico, or jump to a lower level and avoid enemies until your companion takes care of them all).
Once the encounter is over, make sure that Trico is alright. There is a new barrel in the area - you could bring it to your companion. The barrel can be found in a small room which can be accessed by crossing underneath the damaged rods.
After the side deed, climb on Trico's back. Cross through the long corridor together. You can leave this area by showing Trico a hole in the wall on the left. Now, order the beast to reach the higher ledges. Finally, you should arrive to a new area with blue fumes which will start to distract Trico.
