Cross two chambers with rotating guards | Walkthrough
You start under the ceiling of a big chamber, where there are two rotating guards at the bottom level. Do not bother about them and focus on reaching the bottom level safely. Move over the horizontal beams under the ceiling. It is impossible for you to reach the other end of the chamber this way and you will have to keep an eye out for beams below as you go. After you locate such a beam, lower yourself onto it.
Right now, you have to get to the rooftop of the circular structure. Approach its edge and lower yourself several more times. Each one of them rotates slowly. To avoid being spotted, you have to avoid the areas currently lit by them. If this happens, though, run towards the far end of the chamber and be prepared to press all the buttons to free yourself.
Note - The game autosaves after you reach the bottom level of the chamber. If you want to avoid the chase, you can load the saved game and try again.
You have to reach the handle shown in the above screenshot. Run up to it, right after one of the guards turns away, which will grant you the maximum of time to interact with the handle. Start pulling it, which will open the gate. If you have timed that well, Trico will manage to get into the chamber before you find yourself within sight of the guard on the right. Just like previously, climb onto Trico and let him deal with the opponents.
Soothe the beast down, go to the other end of the chamber and command Trico to approach the balcony up above (the one with lit torch on it). Take a leap towards the ledge and climb up the ladder on the right. Thanks to this, you will get to the hole . Follow the tunnel to get outside of the large building.
Approach the ledge closer to the upper edge of the screen and start moving over it. Halfway through, you will have to lower yourself and jump down onto a ledge below. Keep moving to the right and stop after you reach the hole in the wall shown in the above screenshot. After you follow the tunnel, you will reach a chamber with six rotating guards.
Just like earlier, you will have to reach safely the main level of the chamber. Jump down to the beams below, walk over them and after you grab on to one of them, shimmy to the right . Climb onto the beam as soon as possible and move on. Wait for opportunities to jump down onto ledges below and finally, jump down onto the bottom level.
Carefully, approach rotating guards. Dash around, on the left, the guard shown in the above screenshot and, as soon as he stops lighting the handle interact with it. Also this time, you should make it and be able to open the gate in time, before you are spotted. Hide and allow the beast to defeat the knights.
After you have calmed down Trico and removed spears from his body, command him to reach the other end of the second chamber and approach the hole in the upper-left corner. Jump there, walk over to the next area, climb down and find the lever that controls the last gate. This will enable Trico to join you.
Note that Trico does not want to cross the bridge over the huge chasm. You have to get rid of the stained glass that has a negative effect on the beast. This is easy - what you have to do is approach the object and shove it, thanks to which it will drop into the chasm. You can now call on Trico, climb onto him and have him jump over the ledges. This way, you will reach a big ole surrounded with lianas. Then, into the chamber, where you find a more complex puzzle.
