Escape from Butcher Bay - Security Research 2 | Escape from Butcher Bay TC of Riddick: AoDA Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Enter a new area and listen to a short transmission, informing you that power to this section of the facility has been shut off. Turn on Eyeshine and start firing at enemy troops. They should appear to your left [#272]. I would recommend that you stay on the move, because enemy guards may decide to use grenades and you would lose a lot of energy points as a result of an explosion.
[#272]
You should also watch out for explosive barrels. I would recommend destroying at least a few of these objects before you even enter this room. Once you've secured this floor focus on eliminating guards from the upper balconies [#273]. Make sure it's safe before you exit your mech. Leave the machine near the balcony where the first guard was standing.
[#273]
As you've probably noticed there's a stack of large crates near your position. You must get to the top of this tower. Once you're there look up and you should be able to locate a new hangrail [#274]. Use the hangrail to get to the opposite balcony.
[#274]
Once you've found your way to the balcony spend some time destroying nearby lamps. Once this is done go to your right and you should notice a single guard crouching inside a small room. Open the door and zap him with your tranquilizer gun [#275] before he has a chance to fight back. Kill the guard by smashing him with your foot and use the switch to turn the lights back on. This will also power up a nearby gate, allowing you to leave this area.
[#275]
Go back to the large warehouse area where you left your mech. Sadly new enemy units will arrive in this area. Ignore all the hostiles. Jump over the railing and focus on getting back to your mech as soon as possible [#276]. Once you're inside the mech destroy a mechanical opponent. Once he's gone deal with "standard" guards, however watch out for the grenades. Go to section E-13.
[#276]
You will find yourself standing inside a short corridor. Turn right and use the primary cannon to destroy a glass wall [#277]. Exit your mech one more time and proceed to a dark passageway. Climb on top of a crate, press the crouch key and use your tranquilizer gun to zap one of the guards. Proceed to that location, kill the guard and find a new cigarette pack (61 - Riddick Concept). Return to your mech when you have the bonus item.
[#277]
Head on to the next corridor. Be prepared to defend yourself against the attacks carried out by a few guards. There are two mechs waiting for you just around the corner [#278], but thankfully you'll be fighting with them one at a time. Proceed to a gate leading to section E-14. Open the gate and attack a new mech from a large distance. There's one more mechanical opponent to your right. Once he's gone find a single guard, preventing him from making a surprise attack.
[#278]
Ignore the large gate located in front of you, because it's locked. Instead find a smaller passageway which is to your right [#279]. Once you've opened the door you're going to be attacked by three guards. Kill them before moving on to the last warehouse.
[#279]
You're going to have to defeat two weird looking mechs here [#280]. I wouldn't recommend making any additional preparations, because you won't have to pay too much attention to your energy bar. Eliminate both mechs and check the upper balconies for possible human guards.
[#280]
You can exit your mech for the last time, because you'll be moving on foot from now on. There are a lot of boxes in this room, however you shouldn't try reaching the top box right away. Instead find an opening near the wall [#281] and climb a few crates to get there. Look inside and you'll find a cigarette pack (62 - Light Guard).
[#281]
Go back to the main area and proceed to the top. You shouldn't have any problems climbing the crates. Once you've arrived at the upper balcony you should notice that a single opponent has appeared inside the warehouse [#282]. You can try ignoring him or you can zap him and get back down to kill him.
[#282]
Either way you'll have to continue from the upper balcony. Look up and try to find a new hangrail. Use this object to get to an opposite balcony. Once you're there go to your left and you'll come across a ventilation hatch [#283]. Open the hatch, turn on Eyeshine and start moving forward. When you get to a room with a large fan proceed to a new ventilation shaft and wait for the game to begin loading a new map.
