Assault on Dark Athena - Hangar Bay | Assault on Dark Athena TC of Riddick: AoDA Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
This level begins inside a large warehouse. At first you'll only see one mech, but I can assure you that there are two machines near your position. Obviously you'll have to avoid both mechs, because you don't weapons powerful enough to fight them. Press the crouch key and head left. Remain in the shadows. Eventually you'll get to a large hole [#551].
[#551]
Turn on Eyeshine and enter a small ventilation shaft. You should be able to find a bounty card (Matt Docrew) along the way. Take it and decide how to get to your current destination. You can use the crates found near the exit from the tunnel. In order to do that you would have to climb the first crate without being seen by your opponents [#552].
[#552]
If you decide to use the crates you would also have to wait for the mechs to turn around before climbing on top of the first crate. From there you would have to perform several quick jumps to get to a balcony. I would strongly recommend going back to the start area. Wait for a right moment to make a move and start running towards a ramp [#553]. Ignore the fact that you're getting shot at and hide when you've reached an upper balcony. It would be a good idea to destroy nearby lamps before moving on.
[#553]
Proceed towards a nearby control room. Enter the room carefully and use a tranquilizer gun to get rid of a guard [#554]. Once he's gone approach a small console he was working on. Activate the ship, turn around and proceed towards a console located near the door. Interact with this console and you'll trigger an elevator.
[#554]
Return to the upper balcony and notice that one of the platforms has been raised. Jump over the railing and climb on top of this platform quickly [#555]. Remember that you can't stay here too long. Press the action key when you're at the top to turn the laser and return to the balcony as soon as possible. You can try using the crates or you can head down and use the ramp again. Either way avoid mechs at all costs.
[#555]
This time use the third control panel from the left. Watch an interesting cut-scene as the mechs get sucked into space. Wait for the door to your room to open and return to the large warehouse. This time you'll have more than enough time to explore your surroundings. Be on a look out for a new bounty card ("Screamer" Streger) [#556] which can be found on a small platform.
[#556]
Return to the control room, however don't enter it. Instead examine a large hatch located in front of you and you'll notice Dacher standing on the other side [#557]. Turn on Eyeshine to read his message and wait for the door to open. Don't forget to use a NanoMED health unit along the way. Examine the chair upon your arrival in a new room and get ready to defeat Revas!
[#557]
Notice that you've lost your tranquilizer gun, as well as other firearms. Once the battle has started move back to a safe distance and choose the blades from your inventory. The only real way to defeat Revas is to attack her with swift blows [#558]. Move back if she performs a successful counterattacks and you should have plenty of time to heal before her next strike. Don't try staying close to her all the time, because her most powerful combo can take up to three health units. Keep attacking her with quick moves until she's defeated (not killed :-)).
