Escape from Butcher Bay - Recreation Area | Escape from Butcher Bay TC of Riddick: AoDA Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
This is by far the biggest area of Tower 17 and it links all the surrounding levels. For now approach a huge gate [#135] and wait for it to be raised. You'll end up standing in the A section. Thankfully it's very easy to navigate, because there are small passageway between sections and large letters written on the ground telling you where you are.
[#135]
There's only one important activity to do in section A. Talk to Cricket [#136] and he'll offer to sell you a Shiv blade. Remember that you've lost the previous blade when you were captured, so pay him 30 credits. You could buy the same blade for a lower price (25 credits) in the Feed Ward, however I wouldn't recommend waiting, especially since you'll want to fight Baasim soon. Besides, buying a blade from Cricket will trigger Asif into going to the Feed Ward and this will help you in completing several other subquests.
[#136]
Don't even think about choosing the new blade from the list, because you would be targeted by turrets almost immediately. Instead proceed to a small passageway leading to section B. There are four inmates here, but you'll want to talk to with only three of them. Pink will offer to sell you a cigarette pack (56 - Jet Chopper [#137] for 10 credits.
[#137]
In order to be able to talk to Jamal-Udeen [#138] you'll have to wait for him to stop braying. Jamal will ask you to eliminate all the "blueskins" from him. You won't be able to do this during your stay in the prison block, however it's good to have this quest on the list. Finally, talk to Baasim and he'll be more than happy to accept your challenge. Locate a passageway leading to section C.
[#138]
Notice that the game has created a checkpoint when you first entered section C. You can use this to your advantage by trying to win more credits easily. Find an inmate called Craps and confirm that you want to try your luck playing his game [#139]. I would recommend betting 5 credits on 2, 3 or 12, because you can win 40 credits. If you lose all you have to do is to reload the checkpoint and try again. Good luck!
[#139]
There are also three other inmates in this section of Tower 17. Wilkins will ask you to find Jagger Valance for him. Once again - you won't finish this quest right away, but make sure it's been added to your list of assignments. Talk to Gulag who should be standing nearby. Offer your help [#140] in finding his red tube.
[#140]
The last person from this section you should talk to is a prisoner called The Nurse. Listen to his problem [#141] and offer help in applying poison to other inmate's meal. Ignore the fact that you didn't receive poison from The Nurse himself, because you'll find this object soon enough. Once you're done talking proceed to the final D section.
[#141]
The only person you need to talk to in Section D is called Twotongue [#142]. He's tied directly to one of possible ways to get into the mines. Twotongue will ask you to do two things for him - to kill Baasim (you already have him on your list of "quests") and to find his stolen injector.
[#142]
Ignore the passageway located at the other end of section D, because you don't have to use it right now. Instead return to the large gate which lead to section A. Start off by going back to Tower 17 Base. As a result choose a passageway located to your right [#143].
