Midday Gardens | Spyro: Year of the Dragon Walkthrough
The Midday Gardens are the second homeworld that you will come across in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Below you will find the Walkthrough of this level.
How to get 100% completion in this level?
Reaching 100% completion on the Midday Gardens level will require you to meet the following conditions:
- Collect 400 gems
- Find 5 Dragon Eggs
Walkthrough
As soon as you start the level, jump into the water. You will find the first egg of this level there, as well as a large number of gems. Jump out on the other side of the tank. First, you can head towards the ice cave. You will find another egg there, and also the portal to the Icy Peak level.
Going further, you will reach a sizable building. A thief with an egg will be wandering around it. You can find Moneybags on the top of the structure. If you pay him 700 gems, he will release Sgt. Byrd. This will also unlock the Sgt. Byrd's Base level.
The last point of interest which is located near the shore is a collapsed passage to a cave. If you launch a lava rock at it, the pathway to the Enchanted Towers level will be unlocked.
If you walk away from the water reservoir and turn left at the height of Sgt. Byrd's Base, you will reach a fork. By going to the right you will reach the entrance to the Spooky Swamp level. If you choose to turn left, you will enter a sizable glade. Once there, you will find a passage to the Bamboo Terrace level. There is also an opportunity to use the Superflame power-up here, use it to destroy the 4 plant pots near the portal, and you will gain another egg.
You will find a ladder near one of the plant pots that you have destroyed. Climb up said ladder, and you will stumble across the last egg. In this area, you will also find the portal to the Country Speedway level.
