Chests in Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Chests are an indispensable element of the environment in Spyro The Dragon. You can find some of the gems in them, and you must collect a specific amount of them in order to achieve 100% completion. There are a number of different types of chests in the game. Each of them requires fulfilling certain conditions in order to be opened. Below you will find a list of all types of chests along with a description of the steps you must take to open them.
Appearance | Type | How to open? |
![]() | Wooden Chest | You must simply utilize your flaming attack. |
![]() | Metal Chest | You must break it using your charge attack. |
![]() | Spring Chest | Use your fire attack. This will cause a gem to be sent flying, and you will have a chance to catch it, and thus open the chest. |
![]() | Fanning Chest | When it comes to this type of chest, you must breathe fire on it for long enough, in order for the cover to blow off. |
![]() | Explosive Chest | Explosive chests are opened the same way that the basic, wooden chests are opened. Naturally, the difference is that explosive chests do explode. You must keep a safe distance to avoid taking damage. |
![]() | Lock Chest | Opening these types of chests is only possible if you possess the relevant key. |
