Walkthrough
Due to the presence of several characters on this level, the description of the playthrough has been divided into two parts.
Spyro
You start the level on a small clearing. Eliminate the Rhynoc located there and walk towards the ladder. You will find an armored Rhynoc there, as well as a Crossbow Rhynoc. They will be buffed by a Cat Wizard. In the case of an armoured Rhynoc, this will make him practically invulnerable. Therefore, you must eliminate the Cat Wizards first. After winning the fight you will reach a glade, that has a tower moving along its area. You will have to avoid it. Should you fail to do so, it will fall on you and cause significant damage.
You will then reach a staircase. After paying Moneybags off, said staircase will become available to you. Nevertheless, the passage up top will keep opening and closing. That is why you have to hurry when you reach the top. Move swiftly after getting to the top of the stairs. Charge at the armored Rhynocs. If they succeed in attacking you, you will fall into the water and lose a lot of health.
Then jump to the next platform. Eliminate the enemies that are there and move back to its beginning. You will find a cave there. At the entrance, you will find the first egg. Going deeper you will also be able to jump to another. After that has been done, return to the platform from which you jumped into the cave and go straight ahead. You will have to avoid the platforms which are emerging from the rock, then you will have to use them as a staircase.
From here you can jump down to a cave that is leading to a portal. Go through it. You will then be teleported to the vicinity of a tower. You will be able to get two eggs there. For this purpose, you will need to plant the right seeds in order to get to the right location. At the first challenge, you have to plant a yellow seed further away from the high edge and a red one closer to it. You will do the same one level higher. However, you will also have to jump onto a ledge for an additional seed, so that you can reach a different shelf.
In the second challenge, you must first plant three red seeds. You will then be able to reach another ledge, where you will find two more red seeds and one yellow seed. Take the yellow seed and return to the place where you planted the two red seeds next to each other. Burn the seed further away from you. Plant a yellow seed in its place. Take the seed that fell out and take it away. Thanks to this you will have three red seeds to use later on. Plant them in the last vacant positions.
After completing this task, return through the portal. You will now be able to jump to a platform with Cats on it. Eliminate them and head towards the steps which you have used to get here. You will now have to defeat a stone-throwing Cat. As soon as one of the stones crashes against the wall of the ledge on which you are standing, move towards the cat. Eliminate the foe and move ahead.
This way, you will come to the courtyard of the castle. Defeat the opponents located here. Go straight ahead to acquire an egg. Then return to the courtyard and use the teleport in the centre of the building. You will reach a ledge, which will lead you to a portal where Sgt. Byrd comes into play.
Sgt. Byrd
Note: This stage contains an error. It may occur that this part of the level will not be loaded and the game will hang on a bluescreen. Unfortunately, in such a case, you will have to close the game.
In this level, Sgt. Byrd does not have a difficult task ahead of him. You must repel three waves of Cat opponents. Use your rockets to defeat the enemies. On the third approach, you have to constantly fly around so that you do not touch the liquid on the floor.
