No Available Path problem

1. The most common situation when the No Available Path message appears is reaching the edge of the map or an entrance to the area that in the current story mission is not yet available.
2. You can check for this by looking at the minimap, where grey borders show the playable area of the map. The edges of maps in Songs of Conquest are not always marked by trees or rocks. Even roads may be suddenly cut, without the ability to see the end of them.

1. More frustrating may be situations where the game doesn't allow reaching a clearly visible location with loot or buildings. An example of such a situation is shown in the screenshot - a seemingly inaccessible hill with artifacts and statues.
2. Most of the time, such a location has to be reached from a different side - in our example, the one correct path was from the western side. This may involve having to circle the location. This happens often in story missions that attempt to control the overall direction of exploration.
3. In exceptional situations, you may need to find a portal on the map that can take the player to, e.g. a similarly inaccessible island.

How to remove magical barriers?

1. A completely different type of obstacle are magical barriers, and in the example from the screenshot, we have a magic yellow fire barrier that can be encountered, e.g. in the first story mission of the Barya campaign.

1. The solution to overcoming these barriers is similar to the described above - you need to circle the location. Once you're on the other side, you can find a switch that disables the barrier shown in screenshot 1. Interacting with it may remove the impassable flames.
