Solving the bridge riddle and fighting jaguar in Peruvian Jungle - Rough Landing Shadow of the Tomb Raider Guide and Walkthrough

The section contains a description of exploring the jungle in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider after meeting Jonah and retrieving the most vital parts of the equipment (further parts of the Rough Landing quest). You will have to solve a more complex environmental puzzle. Lara will also have to fight the other jaguar.

Now start walking along with Jonah. You will soon reach an obstacle, which you have to lift together (such obstacles are marked with an icon depicting two people). After opening the passage, walk through a ledge over a precipice.

Lara and Jonah will soon reach a sort of a derelict bridge. You will have to solve a riddle - the bridge has to be lifted in order to proceed.

Go to the left of the bridge and climb the tower. There's a mechanism here (shown above). Use it to unlock the flow of water.

Go back down and examine another mechanism to the left of the bridge (shown above). Lara and Jonah have to cooperate again. Activating the mechanism will pour water into the green container.

The green container works as a counterbalance, but since it's punctured, you've got to hurry with the next step. Go back a little and take the path down to get under the bridge.

Aim the bow at the rope coil shown on picture 1. If you've shot it the right way, the rope coils will become linked (as shown on picture 2).

If getting under the bridge and shooting the coil takes too much time, the green container will run out of the water and you will have to repeat the entire sequence, starting from pouring the water into the container.

You can go back up and easily reach the other end of the bridge. Clear the barricade with Jonah and watch the cut-scene. You will get the Eye of the Eagle skill here, but you don't need it right now (It allows creating mixtures of herbs that help you find animals and raw materials). Go outside and proceed further. There will be a new barricade on the road that requires cooperation between Lara and Jonah.

Immediately after the barricade is lifted, a fight with the jaguar that survived the previous battle will suddenly begin. Start by using a flare pistol, and then play the fight in a very similar way to the previous one. Rely on dodging, look for opportunities to hit the jaguar in the head, look for supplies if necessary, and pass the QTE scenes if the jaguar grabs Lara. The only novelty is that in the QTE scene you have to press the additional button indicated by the game at the right moment.

When you have won the fight, go back to the barricade, where Jonah is. A cut-scene will commence, and after Lara falls asleep, the takes to the Croft Manor. You will control a young Lara.
