Forbidden Tomb and summoning the White Queene in Croft Manor - Brave Adventurer Shadow of the Tomb Raider Guide and Walkthrough
This page contains a walkthrough for Brave Adventurer story mission (Forbidden Tomb and summoning the White Queene in Croft Manor) of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Last update: 24 June 2021
The section contains a description of the next part of the exploration of the Croft Minor in Shadow of the Tomb Raider (continuation of the Brave Adventurer mission). The Forbidden Tomb is one of the big halls in the Minor, and Lara has to solve the White Queen puzzle there.
After Lara falls from the roof, you will be in one of the balconies. Enter the house and reach the door shown above. You will enter the big hall, where the White Queen puzzle has to be solved.
In order to solve this riddle, you have to reach the big room in the mansion (see above). The coordinates on Lara's drawing will help you solve this.
Note - There are many cabinets and souvenirs from journeys in the room with the puzzle. Checking them out is fully optional and it is not required to solve the puzzle.
First, take a look at the globe from picture 1. It has two interactive dials. Manipulate them in any order. What you need to do, is input the following coordinates: 30N and 90E. An example of the correct latitude (90E) is shown in picture 2.
After correctly entering the coordinates, light rays will start reflecting off the globe, onto a shield. Reach the ladder directly underneath it and climb onto the balconies. If you're interested in finding collectables in the manor, you should go left right after walking up the ladder - there's letter there.
Reach the other end of the balconies, location the new mechanism. Interact with the dial to unfold the wings of the great bat and light the two fields in the lower section of the room up with red light.
Go back down. The next part of the riddle requires you to move the two figures with shields onto the red fields on the floor. The remaining figures have to be taken out of the way. The solution is shown below - the shields of the two knights will reflect the red light.
The White Queen will appear behind the ladder, between the two red spots (picture 1), but you cannot reach her right away. Solving this is, fortunately, simple - go back to the globe and change the coordinates no anything else so as to lift the ladder (picture 2).
Reach the White Queen and start pulling her towards the knights. If other figures are blocking the way, just pull them away. The White Queen figure has to stand in the middle of the two mirrors - as shown above.
You can now use the passage unlocked behind the place where the White Queen first appeared. A cut-scene will commence and the stage will be ended. You will come back to the present, controlling the present-day Lara again, stranded in the Peruvian Jungle.
