Saints Row 2022: Bright Future - why do the trucks stop counting?

This page of our guide to Saints Row contains info on how to complete the Bright Future mission. After delivering 13 trucks the mission progress stops and any subsequent trucks no longer count.
Bright Future
You can undertake this venture early on in the game. It doesn't cost you anything, and its base hourly income is $2,500. You must complete a questline in order to fully develop the venture. Said questline requires you to deliver 13 trucks.
The 14th truck
Once you deliver the 13th truck, the subsequent ones won't count. To wrap up the quest you must talk to the questgiver, the man in charge of the facility. This completes the mission and rewards you with $30,000 and 5,000 XP.
