Walk towards the sparkling objects at the roof of the train

After watching the cutscene you will receive Player's Manual 2 which explain the rules of controlling two characters (information about that can be found in one of the first chapters of our guide). From now on you can switch to Billy but for now it will be better to keep playing as Rebecca. Remain on the upper floor of the dining car and go to its end. Interact with the open window and confirm wanting to use the ladder. Reach the roof of the train (M1,8) and start going left until you reach the place with sparkles. Watch the toolbox and try to connect the power cable. This will trigger a new cutscene.

The service lift can be found in one of the corners of the kitchen

You will land in the kitchen (M1,9) from which you currently can't get out. Check the kitchen in order to find a new Train Key (if your inventory is full, use or throw away items you currently don't need). Walk with the key towards the service lift that can be found in the corner of the room. Call the lift, put the key inside and send it to the lower floor of the dining car.

Find the lift on the lower floor of the car (while playing as Billy)

Press the button that allows you to switch to the second playable character and start controlling Billy. Walk to the lower floor of the dining car and take interest in the silver sliding doors that can be found right from the stairs. Once you reach the kitchen (M1,10), turn to the right twice and reach the service lift. You must take the key send by Rebecca. In order to do it, interact with the lift.

Important - Billy will soon have to face the first boss in the game. If you plan to save the game before that battle starts, you can use the lift to send down ribbons used for saving the game that probably are held by Rebecca. If that is what you did, later in the game stop in room 201 and use the typing machine.

Conductor's room is on the left side

Now you must again walk as Billy through the whole train. Your destination is the car where you fought the zombie dogs as Rebecca. Bypass the two already examined rooms (202 and 201) and take interest in the previously ignored door to the left - it leads to Conductor's room (M1,11). You can use the Train Key from the kitchen to open the door. In the new room there is a Train Map hanging on the wall and the Note from Conductor file lying on the ground to be found. In addition to that, there is a locked Briefcase in the closet. It has two holes into which later you will insert two items. Remain in the room and find the red button at the exit door. Press it for a ladder to slide down.

After using the ladder you will find yourself in a bar car (M1,12). For now ignore the noise coming from the roof and go towards the door leading to the neighboring car (M1,13). Take the Ice Pick in the new car - it can be found in the lower part of the screen (as shown on the picture above). Now walk to the side room 101 (M1,14) and examine it. The most important thing you must do there is taking the Hunting Gun and ammunition for it. The weapon fills two slots in the inventory, but you can leave the previously obtained items in that room - for example, the Ice Pick and the Briefcase. Set the newly acquired weapon as your active gun and go back to the bar wagon - the battle with the first boss will start.
