Take interest in the red tank after you reach higher floor

A large group of zombies can be found in the new room (M6,11). It is a good idea to fight them while remaining in the left corner - the one next to the entrance door (enemies will be coming from the bottom of the screen and from the right side). Once the battles are over, find the ladder in that room and use it to reach higher floor (M6,12). On the higher floor in one of the corners you can pick up a new file - Investigator's Report 2. In addition to that, find the new red tank and walk towards it as Rebecca. Interact with the tank in order to obtain Red Chemical. As before, it will replace the default Mixing Set in Rebecca's inventory.

Rebecca and Billy will be attacked by hunters in one of the corridors

Now you can use the ladder to return down. Before you open the door leading to the eastern corridor (M6,13), first equip your characters with good weapons, for example grenade launcher or Magnum. It is very important as in the new corridor Rebecca and Billy will be attacked by two hunters. Try to kill both monsters before they get close to your characters and deal serious damage to them. A new door will open after the battle (M6,14). You will find yourself in safe barracks where you can find some supplies (grenades and Ink Ribbon among other things), typing machine (you should save the game, at least two-three hard battles are coming) and a file - About Battery Fluid. It is advised to read that document as it contains hints about the proper combination of items to be used later in the game (of course, you can also simply use our guide for learning about them).

Kill the toad before it will catch and swallow one of the characters

Select the door with Purification Room text on them after clearing the area (M6,15). Walk downstairs and reach new door (M6,16). In the new room with a long balcony the characters can be attacked again by a giant toad - the lurker. When it happens, use grenade launcher or shotgun to kill the monster. It is very important to act quickly if the toad catches one of the characters and starts pulling it towards itself. When it happens, you must quickly act as the second playable character and kill the monster before the hopeless partner will die. Reach another door after winning the battle (M6,17).

Elevator that will allow you to get to the area with the boss

Get rid of the zombies and then examine the room. You will find new supplies and a file - Treatment Plant Manager's Diary (it can be easily missed as one of the killed monsters can fall on it and hide it under its body). You will also find here the terminal with a slot for the missing motherboard that you will have to find. After taking care of all matters position both characters on the small elevator in the corner and activate it. Once you reach floor B9 (M6,18), prepare Rebecca and Billy by giving them the best weapons (grenade launcher, Magnum). Only after that you should start the exploration. After a moment you will once again encounter the Proto Tyrant boss.
