You start off near the wrecked train (M2,1) and as of now, you can play as either Rebecca or Billy. Deal with all the zombies in the area, which lets you examine this area more closely. You can find here all if the items from the train, which you have not picked up or you have thrown away (except for the files - if you have missed some, you won't be able to read them anymore). Of course, you do not need to pick them up right now and you can return for them later and you will still find them next to the train. After you pick up all of the items that you need take the door into the sewer (M2,2).
After you get into the sewers, approach the edge and jump into water. Follow the flooded corridors to the spot where you can come out of the water and take the ladder. Climbing the ladder lets you reach the main hall in the training facility (M2,3). Watch the cutscene here and take a look around. At the ground floor, you find, predominantly, Ink Ribbons and a typewriter, if you want to save the game now. Take the stairs to the upper floor (level 2F). Turn right twice and open the small door by the balcony at the upper floor.
You will walk into a small square room (M2,4). Take a look around for files on the table - Notice to All Staff. After you read the files, you learn that the solution to a puzzle that you encounter later into the game is 8:15 (a quarter past eight). Apart from that, in the room, you find the Crank Handle. Right after you collect it, you will be attacked by ravens. Do not attempt to fight them because you will only waste ammo. Instead, run towards the exit and leave the room.
After you return to the main hall, remain at the upper floor and go right. You need to reach double door near a large statue with a scales pan attached to it. Ignore the statue and open the double door to walk into the conference room (M2,5). Inside, you find another typewriter and more Ink Ribbons next to it. Also, you find a file here - Regulations for Trainees. After you have had a look around the room, go to the small door to the left of your starting point (it is the South-Western door on the map of the training facility - the only one that has recently become available).
If you have taken the correct door, you will walk into a narrow corridor (M2,6). Follow the linear path and stay vigilant, because there are zombies around the corner. You can shoot the monsters or dash up to the double door that you can see on the right side of the display. In the next room (M2,7), you find Training Facility Map. Apart from that, you find Ink Ribbons and Microfilm A. You do not need to collect the microfilm now, because it will only litter the inventory now. Instead, remember where you have found it and return for it when necessary. After you have explored the room, select the character with the crank handle in the inventory, and secure it in place on the crank by one of the walls (access the inventory, highlight the handle and select Use).
Select Rebecca and walk into the elevator in this room. Give the partner order to stand still and switch to Billy. Approach the crank and interact with it, thanks to which the elevator with Rebecca in goes up to level 3F (M2,8).
Rebecca, right after you reach level 3, will be attacked by two mutated insects. You can use pistol to defeat them, or take the shotgun from Billy, before you take the ride on the elevator (this is a trouble because it takes up 2 inventory slots). Regardless of which weapon you have used, remember this place, because you will have to solve a puzzle with a clock here, later into the game. You can explore the area for supplies, or take the only exit.
The next area is a yard with a fountain (M2,9), where you find more ravens. It is best to dash towards the door past the fountain and ignore the ravens. Make an exception only if Rebecca is severely wounded and she needs to pick plants here (there are red and green ones here), to heal (of course, you would first have to kill the ravens)/ After you open the door, you walk into a big hall (M2,10). Right now, you cannot do anything here, so find the stairs in the Eastern part of the hall and climb down to level 2F (M2,11). You will walk into a narrow corridor - run all the way to the end of it and open the door to walk back into the main hall of the training facility (the one with the first typewriter) (M2,3).
Switch to Billy, who should still be standing in the room with the crank and the small elevator (M2,7). Return to the main hall, where Rebecca is. After that meet up, consider saving the game (the typewriter is below), because you are soon going to fight the boss. Have Rebecca follow Billy and take the door that she has just been opening a moment ago (M2,11). After you walk into the narrow corridor, take interest in the side door that you have been ignoring so far. Across the door, you get into the room (M2,12) with the mutated insects and it is a good idea to use shotgun to defeat them. After the fight, consider leaving the shotgun here (or giving it to Rebecca). Replace it with the Grenade Launcher. Apart from that, take ammo - Napalm Grenades.
Note - In the room with the grenade launcher, there also is a White Statue. Ignore it for now, because you will need it for one of the puzzles that you solve later into the game.
Leave the room and take the nearby stairs to reach the big hall at level 3F (M2,10), where you have just been as Rebecca. Switch to Rebecca, have Billy stop following her and examine the Western part of the room. Here, you find a ladder. Climb down to get into a small area with a cage.
After Rebecca gets near the cage, switch to Billy and examine the area near the Southern door that leads to the area with the fountain and the ravens. At the left wall, there are two cranks and you need to use the one shown in the above screenshot (the one on the right). Interacting with the crank raises the cage. You can now switch back to Rebecca ( in the meantime, Billy cannot move!) and collect the Facility Key from the cage. Doing this starts a fight with another boss.
