- Invest in Scouts as soon as possible. They will allow you to discover new territories and explore certain areas on the map, such as Shipwreck.
- Start logging as soon as possible. Woodcutters will enable this option and their main building is called Woodcutter's Lodge. Otherwise, during the first winter, you may run out of your wood supplies and your people will start to freeze.
- Build Defense Towers. They will allow you to increase the security of the area and therefore are not considered as a building. So they do not count towards the number of erected buildings. By putting them at the border of the territory they will attract the attention of the enemy, who will focus their attack on them.
- The amount of food you can accumulate is limited. Initially, it is only 500 units. In a crisis situation such as Blizzard, when food consumption is on the rise, this may not be enough. To increase the amount of stored food, build a Food Silo.
- Do not underestimate random events. They are quite a big threat, and if you don't take the right steps, you may suffer serious consequences, e. g. if there is a plague and you don't have any Food Silo, you will lose as much as 80% of the maximum amount of food, and a large part of your clan will fall ill.
- Take care of the residents' satisfaction. If it falls below zero, new settlers will stop flowing into the sediment. This may provoke labor shortages and a reduction in production.
Zones with characteristic high trees are referred to as Forest. The production of wood in this zone is increased by 10%.
The fortress, located at the borders of the controlled area, attracts enemies' attention and allow to regroup the army.
