The second chapter of the campaign introduces you to a new ally - Halvard of the Goat Clan. You'll once again assume control of Brand. This time, your mission is to help Halvard eliminate the wolves that attack his settlement.
Objectives
- Colonize 8 Territories.
- Reach 200 Fame.
- Order military units to kill all Wolves around Halvard's settlement.
Side Missions
- Reach 6 points of happiness.
- Destroy all wolves' dens found on the map.
- Trade with two resources - Food and Wood with Halvard for a month to open two different trade routes.
Walkthrough
Begin with focusing on the growth of your colony. You need to make sure that the colonists are happy. The neighboring areas contain a lot of resources, including stone, forest, and fish. Their colonization will be much more demanding thanks to groups of wolves found around the area. This means that you need to invest in warriors that will support Brand in combat. Train 4 warriors.
If you want to complete the bonus objective, you need to Focus on the happiness levels. Build two Hall of Skalds and fill them in full. Make sure that the settlement does not hold any wounded, and the town hall and houses are upgraded.
Fame can be acquired in various ways. You can colonize new areas, activate new profits from the lore tree or amass fame through the longship dock. The choice of the method is up to you.
You'll come across Halvard's settlement after colonizing one of the adjacent areas. Halvard will ask you to destroy two wolves' dens located next to his settlement. From now on, you need to hurry, as the wolves attack Halvard's settlement in regular intervals of time. Halvard's group does not have a healer's hut, so their wounds are not healed. If you have only a single scout, create a second one. This will enable for faster discovery of the way to Halward's settlement. At the same time, clear the remaining zones as quickly as possible. You don't need to colonize the areas containing the wolves' dens, simply kill all wolves found in the area and wait a moment.
The map is filled with a lot of dangers. The biggest danger are the wolves. The map contains five wolves' dens that have to be destroyed in order to complete a bonus objective. You'll also encounter bears and a Draugr's Tomb. As a result, you need to create a large group of soldiers and use it to clear hostile territories.
