In this task you will be able to select a clan. This can be a Goat Clan or Deer Clan. Your task is to defeat the Raven Clan, in a struggle for commercial influence.

Main Objectives

1. Build a shipyard with a lighthouse.
2. Let your trading income reach 2000 points earlier than Clan of Raven.

Side Objectives

1. Force Clan of Raven to surrender.
2. Trade with all independent factions for one month.
3. Hire 12 Merchants and 6 Sailors at the same time.

Walkthrough

What counts in this task is how much money you have accumulated. You need to guarantee a steady income as soon as possible. To do this, you not only need to hire large numbers of merchants and sailors, but also to build trade routes. There are two independent factions on the map: the Kobolds and the Jötunns, who will be happy to start trading with you and offer you favorable prices.

The Kobolds are great trading partners, but they are also an obstacle if you want to attack the Clan of Raven.

However, you must have enough supplies and resources that you can trade and, at the same time, ensure the survival of your clan. If you trade food and timber, there will be no problem with it. The attempt to trade only in food, on the other hand, may end really badly. Areas near your town hall don't have enough zones with food resource.

It is also important that you get the right amount of folklore as soon as possible, so that you can unlock the shipyard improvement in the form of a lighthouse. This is the element that unlocks commercial and trading influence. There are three options to choose from. Each of them generates a different amount of trade income. You can change the number of points generated at any time. Therefore, the best option is to gradually increase the trade income generated, as the amount of money generated increases.

Of course, you can also win this mission by eliminating Raven Clan and forcing them to surrender. However, you will need to do this before your opponent can generate 2000 points of trading revenue required to win. Be aware that reaching the settlement of Raven Clan is not going to be easy, because you will also need to liquidate Kobolds who block the only passage to Raven Clan.
