No Man's Sky 2022: Exosuit - upgrades, technology modules No Man's Sky Guide
This page of our No Man’s Sky guide is dedicated to the Exosuit – here you can find more about technology blueprints, upgrade modules and learn how to unlock additional inventory slots.
Last update: 26 October 2022
In No Man's Sky, your Exosuit can be upgraded and its inventory capacity increased. Here we explain how to get new inventory and tech slots and supply a list of all technology blueprints and upgrade modules.
- Exosuit in its basic state
- Additional slots for the Exosuit - how to get them?
- Exosuit Technology Blueprints
- Exosuit technology upgrades
Exosuit in its basic state
The suit has 2 components. Its basic version offers:
- 10 tech slots (with one slot taken by life support system and jetpack)
- 24 cargo slots.
Tech Inventory slots house exosuit upgrades, and their maximum capacity can be increased to 60 slots.
Cargo Inventory slots house all acquired or picked-up items, and their maximum capacity can be increased to 120 slots.
Additional slots for the Exosuit - how to get them?
Additional cargo and tech slots can be bought at space stations, Space Anomaly, or by finding and repairing Drop Pods, which can be found by using maps and Signal Booster.
Remember that on each visited space station you can only buy 1 additional slot for the Exosuit.
When you find a Drop Pod and repair it, you can choose which inventory slots to increase.
Exosuit Technology Blueprints
The Exosuit technology blueprints found below can be received as rewards for completing tasks, found during exploration, or bought at Space Anomaly station.

After buying a blueprint, you need to install it in one of the free tech slots in the Exosuit, as well as deliver resources needed to build it.
Exosuit technology upgrades
These upgrades can only be bought from Exosuit technology merchants on space stations. Each station offers different modules in different prices.
Upgrade modules can be installed in a free tech slot of the Exosuit and doesn't require additional resources.
