Recruiting new soldiers is an essential part of the gameplay in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord. Without the right number of warriors, you won't be able to fight enemies, gain gold, improve your characters or develop your clan or even your own kingdom. You need to learn how to get soldiers in Mount and Blade 2 - this page has the most important information related to that topic.
How to get soldiers?
The easiest way to recruit soldiers is to visit a village or town - when you arrive, choose the Recruit troops option. You will see a window with volunteers from a given location. Some of the soldiers will be available immediately, and some only after your relations and reputation status with particular character have improved. Of course, if your relations with specific NPCs are low, you won't find any warriors willing to join your team.
Bannerlord also has two more ways of acquiring new soldiers. Mercenaries can often be found in taverns. They will join your ranks for a reasonable fee - but they are more expensive than standard soldiers. You can also recruit captured enemies, but such a decision will have a negative impact on the party's morale.
