Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord: How to gain reputation?

The reputation in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord allows you to increase your clan level. In turn, the right clan level will allow you to join a kingdom. It also affects the maximum size of your party. How to gain reputation?

You can check your reputation level (as well as your clan level) in the clan menu.

The way to increase reputation is very simple - you gain a reputation by winning battles and tournaments. All you need to do is win battles or reach first place in tournaments. Remember, however, that beating much weaker opponents will give you a small amount of reputation (even less than 1). To gain more renown, you have to fight against armies that outnumber yours - the more advantage your opponent has, the more reputation you will get for winning that battle. Of course, you can also eliminate weak bandit groups en masse - this is another good way to build reputation in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord.
