Monster Hunter Rise: Walls - how to run on them? Monster Hunter Rise guide, walkthrough
Last update: 22 July 2021
The following page of the guide to Monster Hunter Rise answers the question-how to run on the walls? We explain which rocks your character will be able to climb without a problem, and when you will have to use Wirebugs.
In Monster Hunter Rise there are several ways to climb walls. Lower rocks and small hills can be overcome without any problems. Hold R to jump. The Hunter is also able to climb the vines to reach higher hunting grounds.
While riding a palamute, your companion will automatically climb small mountains. It can also jump from rock to rock.
While ice walls or waterfalls will be inaccessible to you, your hunter can run over high rocks or even giant walls.
Wirebugs will help you climb high walls. Holding ZL, aim the camera at the highest point of the rock and press ZR to release the thread. When your character jumps on the wall hold R to run to the top.
Running on the wall wears out your stamina. If the stamina gauge is exhausted before reaching the top, your character will bounce and jump down.
Before you run into a very high wall, increase the maximum level of stamina to be able to get to the very top. Properly prepared Bunny Dango before going hunting, will also increase the maximum level of stamina and reduce the speed of its use.
If, while running up the wall, your stamina is exhausted, at this point you can again use wirebugs to try to jump to the top.
