Monster Hunter rise: Argosy - what is it?

This page of the guide is dedicated to Argosy - a special trading mechanic appearing in Monster Hunter Rise. Here, you'll learn more about 2 trading systems present in the game.

Argosy is a trade ship moored at Buddy Plaza. During your first conversation with Rodline, the captain of the ship, you'll receive an option to trade your wares for various, often very rare, items.

Argosy has 2 trading systems:

1. Ordering goods in which hunters choose the type of submarine and Buddy to search for the designated ingredients. As the game progresses, new submarines and resources will be unlocked. Once you've chosen the resources, you will see a bargain option that offers various bonuses such as speeding up the trade mission or increased efficiency. As the level of Buddies increases, more bargaining options will be unlocked;
2. Exchanging points for items - spending Kamura points for items obtained by Rodline during his travels. Among the items, you'll encounter special resources as well as scrolls that will become available after completing certain objectives or quests. Available items change after each hunt and are added as the game progresses.
