Tips
- Rajang is a loner, agressive to anyone who enters his territory. Start the fight by luring him to another big monster or attack him while riding a Wyvern.
- You'll know that the monster is enraged once you see his fur turn golden. The activation of the enraged status is signalized by a loud roar. When enraged, Rajang is extremely dangerous - his forelegs become stronger, allowing him to destroy traps without losing damage on them. A few accurate shots fired at his tail will restore Rajang to his basic state.
- When enraged, Rajang fists glow red and he is resistant to most attacks. Moreover, his strikes are faster and deal more damage. In this state, the monster also has a jump attack up his sleeve.
- After removing his enraged status, Rajang is easily knocked down - once in that state, deal as many blows as possible, preferably targeted at the head.
- After a few attacks, Rajang will get tired and will stop attacking. Some of his attacks, such as the jump attack or firing lightning bolts open an opportunity to counter-attack. The key to winning this battle is to synchronize dodges with Rajang's attacks and deal damage after them.
- To avoid being struck when fighting Rajang, use a Wirebug. Before starting the battle, look for an additional Wirebug found in this area and watch the charge bar during combat.
