The snail appears only at night in the Frozen Islands. Like any rare creature, it must be photographed to appear in the Hunter's notes.

In order to have as much time as possible to find a rare creature, it's best to go on an expedition tour to the chosen hunting area. Expeditions allow you to choose the time of day and have no time limits.

Before you go, make sure that you have eaten a meal that increases your level of endurance, as reaching the Monksnail requires running along the walls and climbing to higher areas of the location.

When you find the snail, try to select a greeting from the action bar and see what happens. Good luck!
