Manor Lords: Tips and Tricks

1. Start with the Rise to prosperity scenario - starting Manor Lords with a peaceful scenario will help you get to know the gameplay mechanics without unnecessary stress.
2. In what order to build buildings - useful facilities at the beginning of the game include: a Logging camp, a Granary, a Storehouse, and a Well.
3. Build roads from the beginning - free roads will make it much easier for the inhabitants of your village to move around, which will, in turn, increase productivity.
4. Build large fields next to houses - a larger field next to a residential house will allow you to expand it with one of many useful extensions.
5. Pay attention to the red icons - alerts appearing next to the bar at the top of the game screen will help you diagnose the problem that is troubling your village.
6. Be careful when assigning an ox to a specific job - oxen can be assigned to work at specific facilities, but this option should only be used if you have enough animals to divide them among the rest of the inhabitants.
7. Temporarily lay off workers when you want to build something - the construction of buildings is carried out by families that are not currently assigned to other tasks. If you need to build something, temporarily relieve one of your families of other responsibilities.
8. Prepare supplies for winter - during winter, villagers use twice as much resources. Make sure you have enough supplies before the first snow falls.
9. Take care of food diversity - a varied diet will improve the mood of the community and make you less susceptible to sudden crises, such as the extinction of animals living in nearby forests.
10. Be careful when exploiting natural deposits - do not be overzealous, you do not want to upset the delicate balance of nature.
