Last update: 04 April 2022
This page of the Gran Turismo 7 game guide contains the fourth and final part of the career mode walkthrough. We've included the descriptions of the menus 31-39, including the final campaign championship. You'll learn about the available chapters and the unique rewards (vehicles, tracks, new options in the main menus) obtainable by taking care of Menus 31-39.
- Menu 31: Collection: Porsche 911
- Menu 32: Collection: Supra
- Menu 33: Championship: World Touring Car 600
- Menu 34: Collection: AMG
- Menu 35: Collection: Nissan GT-R
- Menu 36: Championship: World Touring Car 700
- Menu 37: Collection: Gr.B Rally Cars
- Menu 38: Collection: Ferrari
- Menu 39 - Finale: Championship: World GT Series
- Epilogue - return to the cafe
Menu 31: Collection: Porsche 911
This chapter tasks you with completing three new races and collecting three different generation of the Porsche 911. These are:
- Porsche 911 Turbo (930) '81
- Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) '92
- Porsche 911 Carrera RS (993) '95 - a very similar model, 911 Carrera RS CS (993), was available as a random draw back in menu 29.
The races are held at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Autodrome Lago Maggiore and Nurburgring Nordschleife. Only Porsche cars are allowed, but you should already have some vehicles of this brand in your collection. There's another much more important restriction - all three races have a 650 PP cap. You can use the Porsche you tuned during Menu 30. Try to get as close to 650 as possible without going over, making your car as good as possible while still meeting the requirements.
Menu 31 is the first time you'll drive on Nurburgring Nordschleife during the career mode. This can make the race quite difficult if you're not familiarized with the track. Nurburgring Nordschleife is very long and features many corners you must make at high speed.
We recommend you to first practice the track via Circuit Experience and then use the Porsche model you feel most comfortable driving. Otherwise you may end up skidding, crashing and failing the race at the very end. Fortunately you only have to complete a single lap, although this also means you must hurry to catch up to your opponents.
Menu 31 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Porsche 911 Turbo (930) '81, Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) '92, Porsche 911 Carrera RS (993) '95.
- Unlocking the Circuit de Sante-Croix track.
Menu 32: Collection: Supra
This chapter tasks you with beating three new races and collecting three different generations of the Toyota Supra. These are specifically:
- Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88
- Toyota Supra RZ '97
- Toyota GR Supra RZ '20
The races take place at Circuit de Sante-Croix, Suzuka Circuit and Autodromo de Interlagos. Their PP cap is 700. You are also forced to use a car with a turbocharger.
Use one of your already owned machines in all three races or try to quickly unlock the Supra '97 or Supra '20, then tune it (in order to use it later on). Expect rainfall in at least one of the races, buying rain tires could be a good investment.
Menu 32 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88, Toyota Supra RZ '97, Toyota GR Supra RZ '20.
- Roulette Ticket.
Menu 33: Championship: World Touring Car 600
The championship consists of races on three different tracks, which are:
- Red Bull Ring
- Suzuka Circuit
- Dragon Trail - Seaside
The PP cap is 600 but there are no other limitations - you can, for example, use one of the Toyota car you obtained in the previous chapter. Once again you should expect rainfall, but in our case it happened only during the first race and wasn't too heavy.
To complete the championship you must finish it in the top three (the sum of points from all three races). Winning the championship rewards you with 80,000 credits. You'll also draw a random car from the following pool:
- BMW Z8 '01
- Audi TTS Coupe '14
- Audi R8 4.2.'07
All of these cars can only be obtained once during the campaign. They're thankfully all modern and easily purchasable from Brand Central without the need of waiting for them to appear among used cars.
Menu 33 rewards:
- Free random car - BMW Z8 '01, Audi TTS Coupe '14 or Audi R8 4.2.'07.
- Unlocking the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya track.
Menu 34: Collection: AMG
This chapter tasks you with completing three races and obtaining three different Mercedes AMG models. These are:
- Mercedes-AMG C 63 S '15
- Mercedes SLS AMG '10
- Mercedes-AMG GT S '15
The races are held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Circuit de Sante-Croix and Nurburgring Nordschleife. The PP cap is 700, you can use a car obtained from a previous championship (after tuning it and getting its PP close to 700) or other compatible vehicle.
Make sure you pick a vehicle that's easy to drive for the Nurburgring Nordschleife race, as it consists of a single lap and thus you must quickly catch up to your opponents. Unfortunately, this track may also feature rainfall. You can either quit and restart the race to try and randomize the weather or equip rain tires. Don't forget to brake early when driving on wet surfaces and try not to fall off the track.
Menu 34 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Mercedes-AMG C 63 S '15, Mercedes SLS AMG '10, Mercedes-AMG GT S '15.
- Roulette Ticket.
Menu 35: Collection: Nissan GT-R
Once again you must complete three races, this time collecting three different Nissan GT-R models. These are:
- Nissan R33 GT-R V-spec '97
- Nissan R34 GT-R V-spec II Nur '02
- Nissan GT-R '17
The races are held on the Tokyo Expressway, Deep Forest Raceway and Dragon Trail tracks. This chapter features two important limitations: The PP cap is 700, forcing you to carefully tune your cars.
You also have to use a GT-R model, with all other vehicles being banned. As a reminder, Menu 18 featured an obtainable Nissan R32 GT-R V-spec II '94 you can tune so it meets the recommended PP. You can also purchase a different model, although try to buy one that's different from the vehicles obtainable here, such as the Nissan GT-R NISMO '17.
Your objective is to highlight two check marks on the race screen - correct PP and selecting one of five allowed cars (example pictured above). The races themselves are thankfully nothing special, especially thanks to the GT-R models having a 4WD drive and thus being very easy to drive.
Menu 35 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Nissan R33 GT-R V-spec '97, Nissan R34 GT-R V-spec II Nur '02, Nissan GT-R '17.
- Roulette Ticket.
Menu 36: Championship: World Touring Car 700
This championship once again consists of three races on the following tracks:
- Trial Mountain Circuit
- Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
- Nurburgring 24h (a variation on Nurburgring Nordschleife which includes a large part of the Nurburgring GP track, making the required single lap longer and even more challenging)
The championship's PP cap is 700 with no other limitations, thus meaning you can drive cars from the Gr.4 category which some other competitors will use against you. One such vehicle from this category (Toyota GR Supra Race Car '19) can be obtained by achieving at least bronze in all IB license trials. You don't necessarily have to buy a Gr.4 car (they can cost even up to 350,000 credits).
One of the things making this championship difficult is the fact that this is the first time 20 cars participate at the same time. This means overtaking your competitors will take more time, requiring a good vehicle. The races themselves, fortunately, are long, and only Nurburgring 24h doesn't leave much space for error.
As usual, to progress you must finish the championship in the top 3. The prize for winning the championship is 100,000 credits. You can also draw a single vehicle from the following pool:
- Ferrari F430 '06
- Ferrari 308 GTB '75 - in case you draw a different car you'll get another chance in Menu 38
- Ferrari 458 Italia '09 - in case you draw a different car you'll get another chance in Menu 38
Of the cars from this list, the Ferrari F430 appears as a reward only here, only once. Fortunately it's a modern Ferrari model, so if you draw a different one you can still buy the F430 at Brand Central for 243,200 credits.
Menu 36 rewards:
- Free random car - Ferrari F430 '06, Ferrari 308 GTB '75 or Ferrari 458 Italia '09.
- Unlocking the Fisherman's Ranch and Sardegna - Windmills tracks.
Menu 37: Collection: Gr.B Rally Cars
This chapter introduces Dirt Racing for the first time . It consists of three races and tasks you with obtaining three rally cars from the Gr.B category. These are:
- Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 '86
- Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak '87
- Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car
The races take place at a single asphalt track (Alsace) and two dirt tracks (Fisherman's Ranch, Sardgena - Windmills). You can exploit this to obtain a compatible rally car. Racing on the Alsace track first will reward you with the Gr.B Ford Focus. That way you won't have to buy a vehicle from this category for the remaining dirt races.
If you already own a Gr.B car you can also use it right away. As an example, achieving at least bronze in all IA license trials unlocks the Toyote 86 Gr.B Rally Car.
In case of dirt races you must put on Dirt Tyres found in the second tab of the tuning shop (example pictured above).
You should be already familiar with dirt tracks as they already appeared earlier in some license challenges, but still - remember to start turning your car in advance when passing corners in order to drift through the turn (but not overdo it and end up losing time). Hit the breaks on sharper turns to make them easier to pass.
Menu 37 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 '86, Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak '87, Ford Focus Gr.B Rally Car.
- Roulette Ticket.
Menu 38: Collection: Ferrari
You must finish three new races tasking you with collecting three different Ferrari models. These are:
- Ferrari 308 GTB '75 - this car was obtainable during the draw in Menu 36, and if you got it back then you can either ignore it or try to get a second one
- Ferrari 458 Italia '09 - this car was obtainable during the draw in Menu 36, and if you got it back then you can either ignore it or try to get a second one
- Ferrari F12berlinetta '12
The races take place on the Dragon Trail, Autodrome Lago Maggiore and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya tracks. The PP cap is 700 and all races must be completed with a Ferrari car. If you drew the 308 GTB back in Menu 36 you should use a different car instead, as it requires intense and costly tuning to be effective. Consider obtaining the F12 model first, as it's the strongest of all cars obtainable in this menu. It will come in handy during the remaining two races.
Menu 38 rewards:
- Free cars from the collection - Ferrari 308 GTB '75, Ferrari 458 Italia '09, Ferrari F12berlinetta '12.
- Unlocking the 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit track (Le Mans 24h).
Menu 39 - Finale: Championship: World GT Series
The final championship of the campaign consists of five races on five different tracks. These are:
- Deep Forest Raceway (7 laps)
- Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (5 laps)
- 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit (only 3 laps due to the track's length)
- Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit (5 laps)
- 24h Nurburgring (only 2 laps due to the track's length)
The allowed PP range of this championship is 100-800. There's no official category requirement, but you should use a Gr.3 car, as your opponents do.
This is the final championship so get the best Gr.3 car possible. We recommend the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept pictured above. It costs 450,000 credits but fortunately you don't have to tune it too much after purchase - simply buy the High-RPM Turbocharger for 18,800 credits to raise its PP a little (to around 770, it shouldn't exceed 800).
You can test out different Gr.3 vehicles for free thanks to Circuit Experience - they're often tied to track challenges. This lets you check how they drive and whether they suit your preferences.
Keep a few things in mind during the final championship:
- Each race features 20 vehicles, so you'll need to prepare for a lot of overtaking. The races are long, so driving carefully and flawlessly should let you take the lead long before the finish line. Avoid taking risks, as they can easily cause your loss.
- You shouldn't encounter rainfall, but you may still buy rain tires before the championship just to be sure and swap them out if they're needed.
- This is the first time you'll race at Le Mans. If you don't know this track or don't remember it well you should practice it via Circuit Experience on 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit.
- The final, fifth race takes place on Nurburgring and is the most difficult one, as it starts at night. The sunrise can blind you in some corners and you should know the track layout's well, as to not drive too slowly and avoid falling off the track.
As in all previous championships, your points from all five races will be summed up. You don't have to win the championship, only finish in the top three. Despite this we recommend doing your best in every single race and restarting if you make a big mistake or finish the race ranked low.
The reward for winning this championship is 150,000 credits. You'll also draw a car from the following pool:
- Porsche Carrera GT '04
- Pagani Huayra '13
- Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV '15
This is the campaign's finale, so obviously only here can you get these cars as a reward. You can buy them all from Brand Central but they're quite expensive.
Menu 39 rewards:
- Free random car - Porsche Carrera GT '04, Pagani Huayra '13 or Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV '15.
- Roulette Ticket - this time it should be a six-star ticket offering the best possible rewards.
Epilogue - return to the cafe
To officially complete the campaign you must return to the Cafe one last time. You'll be congratulated by all the characters appearing in the career mode. The game will roll credits and award you with the gold Finale trophy for completing all the menus.
You can continue playing and repeating beaten championships or engage in different races and activities. We've described it in more detail on a separate page Endgame - how does it work?.
