A first-person perspective shooter that takes place in the universe of EVE Online. Project Nova is a free-to-play game focused on multiplayer. Instead of a classic single player campaign, the game offers various multiplayer modes. Most of them take place in narrow corridors of ships and space stations – the developers focused on dynamic encounters instead of battles taking place in large open spaces. Project Nova is more like a tactical shooter than an arcade FPS.

Due to the specificity of the set, individual levels have not been combined into larger episodes like the parent game, and each of them constitutes a separate whole.

You play as a lone astronaut called Harrison, whose ship malfunctions badly. Harrison leaves the ship and has to continue his journey on his own. He has to face many dangers, such as a previously unknown civilization. Lost Orbit can be called a vertical platformer, since you move toward the top of the screen.

We control an abducted warrior, forced to take part in brutal fights for life and death, similarly to gladiators in ancient Rome.

Combat takes place in relatively small and closed locations, as well as in open areas.

The game's title refers to the cult arcade production Asteroids, but at the same time it focuses on completely different mechanics of play. The new story campaign includes twenty missions, in which the Salamanders attempt to retrieve the precious Tomes of Fire and punish those who profaned them.
