Stealth Inc. 2 is the sequel to the stealth platformer game Stealth Bastard that initially debuted in 2011 on PCs and was later ported to PlayStation 4 as Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark. It was developed by the independent Curve Studios, the creators of the console version of MouseCraft, among other things. The second installment in the series, after several months of exclusivity for Wii U, eventually arrived to other platforms, as well.
In the game, we assume the role of a hacker-burglar again, who wades through a research complex of an evil corporation called PTi Industries. In every level, the protagonist has to avoid the facility’s security systems and hack terminals in order to release the clones imprisoned therein. At the same time, he also has to beware of the opponents and also remain hidden. Thanks to the open structure of the game world, he gains free access to the entire complex. Each subsequent level brings new, increasingly difficult challenges which we will tackle with a rather rich arsenal of various gadgets.
The gameplay mechanics combine elements of classic 2D platformer games with stealth titles such as Metal Gear Solid. The levels are filled with numerous logic-arcade puzzles that check not only the player’s reflexes, but also his or her logical thinking abilities. Stealth Inc. 2 also comes with a level editor that allows for creating and sharing your very own labyrinths.
