Set in a science-fiction world, the game casts the player in the role of a space fighter pilot who has to engage in a fight against powerful space invaders to save the human race. Once it became clear that conventional weapons are ineffective, the only chance of defeating the enemy was to go inside the mothership in order to destroy it from within.

A side-scrolling shooter developed by the independent Pixelnest Studio. The player sits at the helm of a spaceship, their task is to eliminate subsequent waves of incoming enemies. We encounter both ordinary, numerous opponents that aren’t too difficult to defeat as well as more rare bosses that require devising a special tactic to beat them. In Steredenn, we are not defenseless and the ship we pilot can be equipped with 35 kinds of weapons and 25 enhancements that we unlock with progress.

The player is tasked with learning to control the extraordinary abilities of the protagonist as he is trying to get rid of the invaders from his home city.

The plot combines threads from the previous iterations, and is set in three different epochs. Thus the player is taken 10 thousand years back and visits the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Then the game fasts-forward to 2100, and the action now takes place in Tokyo.

The hero’s goal is naturally to solve the mystery behind this situation while being hindered by numerous enemies and a myriad of other dangers.
