Asemblance

Asemblance for PC, PS4 and XONE is an episodic psychological-thriller exploration-adventure game, the debut of an American studio – Nilo Studios. The founder, and the boss is Niles Sankey, formerly a member of the well-known Bungie studio (the Halo series and Destiny). The game was inspired by classic American TV series such as The X-Files or The Twilight Zone, as well as their more contemporary British counterpart, Black Mirror. Other inspiration material includes the popular The Stanley Parable and P.T.

Plot

You play as a mysterious protagonist trapped in a room together with a machine capable of generating and simulating memories of the person who’s using it. This means that you have to venture through various — at times completely surreal — fragments of the protagonist's past, discovering his story and secrets during the process.

Mechanics

Asemblance is a typical exploration-arcade FPP game. It's focused mainly on the narrative aspect, so your interaction with the environment is limited, and the story is told in a linear way.
